I recently bought a pair of brown Downey, size 45 from a shop in Jermyn St, London. They have proved to be rather too big. I have just taken delivery of 2 pairs of Downey, one brown and one black, in the recent sale. They are size 44. Both pairs are too small! I normally take a 43, 9.5. A bit disappointing but may have to persevere.

Good service from engineer

Under no circumstances should you hire Let’s Get Moving. Locally in Winnipeg or anywhere in Canada. A move that should have taken 4-5 hours took 11. The movers were unprofessional, items were broken, mattress was thrown in the truck uncovered and boxes that we paid their team to pack were packed with no packing material resulting in broken dishes. Their driver took out the front end of a car in the lot, but they denied any damage. When we complained that things were moving way too slow, they said not to worry, they would ‘tell their guys to work faster’. They ended up only charging us for 6 hours and they offered a settlement of $150 for broken items, but in order to receive the $150 we were required to sign a document saying that we or anyone we know would not leave any negative reviews or comment online or anywhere else. If we did we would be liable to them for $5000. I guess this is why it’s hard to find negative reviews of this company. Just do your job properly to avoid negative reviews.

I was lucky to be gifted some beautiful Japanese wood block prints and knew they needed to be framed professionally and sympathetically. I made an appointment to see Alon and took them along ! I have used Wet & Dry Plumbing Services for several years and have always found James excellent - not just his work, but his reliability and friendly, helpful manner. Highly recommended.

James has recently serviced my boiler and installed an outside tap but has been doing plumbing work in my home since 2018. He is amazing and the only plumber I will allow into my home! Over the years he has serviced the boiler, upgraded my heating system to a smart system, installed new radiators everywhere throughout my home, installed a gas hob and repaired leaks. I have never had any problems with any of the work completed. The heating system is still going strong 5 years on. I would give extra stars if possible. Thank you for you hard work as always James!

Request for a replacement boiler, my options were clearly laid out leaving me to make the final choice. Work was cleanly and efficiently carried out with my questions on the procedures answered. Laura and Jemma have been particularly supportive throughout my time on the course and give realistic advice which is helpful. It enables you to push on with the course if there are any hurdles. tutor support is great. as a student of the course am looking forward to using the diploma to get into higher education at the end of the year!

Kate created our save the dates for our wedding. What can I say?! The service she provided (we put her under a bit of pressure to do it quickly as we'd been disorganised and needed them out) was outstanding. She delivered in the agreed timeframes and the save the dates are beautiful and the responses we've had to the save the dates have all commented on how good they look. We will be using her for the full wedding invites as well, and frankly I would be happy to use her for any event I'm hosting between now and the end of time!

I first stumbled across the QuaintlyKate website when looking for the perfect card to ask my friends to be my bridesmaids. The original cards that were sent out were lost by the Royal Mail but Kate was so quick in getting replacement cards made and sent out the very same day.
