Mijn 3e set gehoorapparaten alweer. Nu voor het eerst bij Makker. Ik werd vriendelijk geholpen door Nathalie. Ze maakte een deskundige indruk en was uitermate geduldig..... Ik mocht uitgebreid de door mij gewenste apparaten uitproberen (ruim 6 weken) en voelde mij gedurende het gehele traject niet onder druk gezet. Een paar keer zijn mijn apparaten opnieuw of anders ingesteld totdat ik het meest optimale ervaarde. Social Self has been wonderful for me personally on my journey of growth. The first call I showed up for, I just observed and listened in on the conversation. I wasn't quite ready to open up at that point. About a month later, I showed up for another one. And I did struggle to open up, but I pushed myself a little further. I wish I could of knew about SocialSelf sooner in life. When I was growing up out of high school, I've struggle to keep contact with others to become friends, had trouble knowing how to talk to others like blanking out or not knowing what to say; feeling I would say the wrong thing, feeling loneliness, anxious, depressed, stressed, I thought I could cope with this stuff, but as I got older, it was getting worse. These programs are easy step by step videos that David, his friend Victor, and other staff have put together on how to talk to others 1-1, group conversations, how to listen, and many more. Probably one of the most transform was Self-Conscious to Self-Confidence. The others programs have helped too. While I can't tell everything in this view, but when I took the course, it has transformed my life for the better. For example, when I was talking to a old friend of mine, I had no idea how to start conversations, or how to keep it going. I would often blank out, say very short answers and would make end it too soon. When I practice with this course, it not only has helped, but has also made my friend and I became very close this very day. When I first started, it's not gonna magically happen all of a sudden. What I mean is depending on where you're at in life; your strengths and weakness, some may be easier than others until you practice them. For me it took awhile; being on the Autism Spectrum, it got better and I could see the instate results. If you give it some time and put effort into it, you will see results! The SocialSelf staff are great! (Shout out to Molly & Matthew) They are very friendly and helpful. The Staff are people who want to help you with your social life because there are so many people out there who have no idea how to take on their social life. They've been through similar experience too. The thing with me is I thought there wasn't anyone who could show and taught me how and it was starting to hurt my health and life. When I came to SocialSelf, it has transformed me and I'm a lot happier in life. There are some area I'm still working on, but I'm a lot better at it then I was back then. I would recommend it. Great courses - gave me a few things to think about. Customer service responds really quickly and is very helpful.

Sometimes details make the difference. You add just a question to your conversation or make a small association to the subject and you feel more included. I am a good listener but not a very talkative person. I have tried to adjust my self in conversations in order to make people comfortable talking to me, and I have also seen these details as I bother other people. Although all my efforts for becoming better on creating fast relationships with people, I was missing something that I couldn’t grasp. I learned by David that making people comfortable doesn’t mean that you have to hide yourself and to hide your ideas or your identity. Making a good conversation does mean that all the spotlight should be over other person 100%, and over you 0%. And I learned by the course that conversation is made up by th contribution of both. In contrary just like the flow of the river, you have to be the part of the conversations, with your ideas and your thouhts and your life translated into words. I was missing these messages although I have tried hard for several years to find my path over my communication skills. So for me it was an invaluable experience, and I suggest to everybody that feels like missing something on his/her communication skills.

I’ve been taking the Awkward to Awesome course, and have found it really helpful so far. I am still at an early stage but have been able to apply some of the pointers to my everyday social situations and got good results. It felt so nice to find a course that speaks exactly to how I am feeling in social situations, and also to find a community of like-minded people. Recently, I attended a Zoom session on "showing up authentically," which was also a great experience for me. The session was led by Mathew, who created such a safe and engaging environment. His approach was fun, compassionate, and encouraging. I felt a bit more comfortable to be my authentic self and left the session feeling good. I highly recommend SocialSelf to anyone looking to improve their social skills, build confidence, and connect more authentically with others!

The greatest benefit to this course (I am taking self conscious to confident) is that I am realizing that I am not alone in my struggles with social anxiety. So many people share the same difficulties in life that I do, and it means a lot to me that people share their experiences on this platform. It normalizes these issues and makes it less of a stigma. My biggest struggle with the course is simply being able to stick to it. I admit I have fallen off course in the past few weeks. I do also wish that it was a little less expensive, but I also realize how much time the staff puts in to maintaining the course and putting on seminars, etc.

The audiologist was brilliant. I had some hearing issues and went for a hearing test as well as getting my waxed removed. Laila was efficient and professional and also sympathetic about my hearing issues. The issues were resolved and I left feeling like I had new ears. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent service for housebound people with hearing problems. Someone I know had been unable to have their ears cleared of wax for over a year. Within a week of my calling Otocare that was sorted and hearing markedly improved. A week later new hearing aids were delivered and fitted with great care, courtesy and patience. The recipient is now joining in conversations normally.

I am the kind of dental patient that can’t even walk through the door. Needs someone with me to push me in. Products are 100% legit, and a good variety, the only reason I haven’t scored 5 stars is because the products are not cheap, these are the highest prices I’ve ever paid for these medications, you can usually get most for at least 40% less from other local sellers. Some might be okay paying the extra for pure convenience as this company do make it very easy and you can definitely put your trust in them. I think there should be higher discounts applied for buying larger amounts, you’re not really saving much at all between buying 30 tablets and 230. Which for constant users makes this pretty unsustainable for long term use if you aren’t using a tiny amount to begin with, which I’m not. But apart from that one issue, this company is as good as it gets, if your in doubt and don’t mind the price, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be using again I just hope improved discounts for people buying larger amounts can make it more worth it for the customer. Like most other companies do.

Always had no issues but my order placed 21st January not received and as no tracking issued to me been trying to chase up. The phone number is invalid and sent numerous messages on their contact page with no reply!! On the one occasion someone did respond on live chat they disappeared half way through conversation. They were able to give me tracking details but that says it's been stuck in post office waiting for dispatch since 29th January. The seller is the only one who can contact post about this so I'm £70 out of pocket!!

The best doctor. 🇮🇷 یکی از بهترین انتخاب‌هایی که در زندگی‌ام داشتم، انتخاب دکتر عبدالله برای عمل اسلیو معده بود. قبل از اینکه به ترکیه بروم و دکتر را ملاقات کنم، نگرانی‌های زیادی داشتم، اما وقتی به بیمارستان رفتم و دکتر را ملاقات کردم و همچنین بیمارستان را دیدم، بسیار شگفت‌زده شدم. بیمارستان بسیار مجهز بود و دکتر بسیار باتجربه بود، تمام مراحل جراحی را توضیح داد و تیم خوبشان مراقبت‌های عالی پس از عمل را ارائه دادند. دکتر و متخصص تغذیه بسیار مسئولیت‌پذیر بودند و تا آخرین روز مرا همراهی کردند و مجدداً من را بررسی کردند. من دکتر عبدالله سيشيك را به شدت توصيه می‌کنم. بهترین دكتر .

My overall health, specially liver was not doing well because of my obesity! On the other hand I had a fear of Gastric Sleeve because of hearing some horror stories 😂; But, luckily I scheduled my surgery with Dr. Abdullah sir (The best decision of surgeon slection). I was very worried before the surgery, they really helped me in all the ways possible! They treated me like a small 6 montjs old child! The after-care was excellent! The hospital room, hotel, all medical facilities, drinks and foods and everything were very perfect and excellent! The surgery procedure also completed cery well without even a small complication! I would like to start my review with the person or should I say the "star of the show", ⭐️ the coordinator LUNA!!!! She was extremely professional, patient with all of my questions and I was convinced to have my surgery in Dr. HE clinic. 🥰😄 The second step was to speak to the doctor via video chat and I must say after speaking with dr. Abdullah Sisik, I had no doubt in my mind that this is where I would like to get my surgery done. Dr Abdullah Sisik explained every aspect of the surgery, explained pros and cons and every detail that one should know before a procedure. After arriving in Turkey, the driver picked us up from the airport from the designated pick up point right on time, he was very pleasant too and took us to the hotel, which by the way was also very nice. 🏨 I met Dr. abdullah the next day who was just as pleasant in person as he was on the video chat. ☺️He once again showed up with his team and explained everything and asked me if I had any questions and answered my questions thoroughly and with patience. I got to meet the entire team (Im sorry I don't know the name of all the doctors and other staff), but from A to Z the entire team was professional, efficient, communicated everything with me in detail. Christophe and Zeynep (our nutritionists/dietitians, were amazing and thorough when they provided information to me. A special round of applause to Chriatophe for being super pleasant every time we saw him even in the hall and special thanks also for demonstrating the protein shake making process for us ☺️😊 👌 The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly. I spoke to 6 different people in 6 different hospitals prior to speaking with Luna, but there was always a doubt in my mind until I spoke to Luna and later with Dr. Abdullah Sisik and got my procedure done. Well, as you all may know, first of all, the treatment from the airport till the hospital was fantastic, the medical team was brilliant and my Dr is excellent 👏 👌 my result can't be most better than the are. I WILL RECOMMEND 100% THIS CLINIC AND 100% DR. ABDULLAH SISIK.

Excellent, hospital was clean, everything was professional, I was given every bit of information, Luna (a great star) coordinated and arranged everything, every step of the way I was treated first class. I arrived March 2022 (30.5st) I went back this April 2024 to have my excess skin removed I’m now 13st, I’ve regained my confidence and my health.

It’s not good to be kept waiting especially when you have a time and you are anxious

Freiheit!!! Vor einem Jahr habe ich mich operieren lassen- das war die beste Entscheidung, ich bin so glücklich! Das Team dort ist professionell, zuvorkommend und herzlich. Ich hatte -5.50 Dioptrien, ein Leben ohne Brille oder Kontaktlinsen war nicht möglich. Diese Operation war ein Befreiungsschlag. Nachts die Augen zu öffnen und den Sternenhimmel sehen, tauchen mit offenen Augen ohne Taucherbrille...schade, dass ich so lange Angst vor der OP hatte und nochmal tausend Dank an das Team von Optical Express Lindau🫶🏻
