
Why oh why did I change to this supplier???? Worse customer "services", absolutely awful
An attempt to move from NPower to Southern Electric (SSE) has been made for several months now and they STILL have not got it right. 1) my initial application to transfer was lost 2) the second and current application for dual (gas & electricity) was only partly done. The gas move is still outstanding after several frustrating attempts to get the meter reading over to them, to get the account moved, etc. I am now paying Npower and Southern Electric until this matter has been resolved 3) the promised £30 incentive to move suppliers never materialised 4) the promised £20 M&S voucher incentive never materialised Many frustrating and time consuming telephone calls and emails later and this still has not been resolved. We which we had never moved to this supplier. People, stay away !!

Shocking after sales
Shocking after sales . I moved from Octopus to take a slightly better electricity deal …what a mistake that was !!!! SSE have confused my day and night readings meaning if I am unable to submit readings so I have no idea how much power I’ve been using . I have called 3 times to get this sorted and they said to give an initial reading ( which I did ) and they would call back later on the day for a second reading to verify which was the day reading . Never got the second call !!!! Had to cancel the smart meter install because it would mean my daytime useage would be insane as they have my nighttime ( low useage) as my daytime …Dreadful …I am going back to Octopus

The worst customer service you can ever imagine
If you like going round the merry go round or chasing your own tail constantly. Well this is the supplier that will make you feel that way. Horrendous customer service. Our business has been supplied by SSE for a few years now. Suddenly we get a huge bill for nearly 24 grand sprung upon us when we pay out quarterly. The advisors themselves couldn't understand why this bill was sent and put it down to possibly being a faulty smart meter. I can understand if I was running a factory but we are a small business. Apparently the job was 'in progress' and someone would come out within 10 days. Nobody came out. I was fobbed off constantly by saying ring this number and re book or someone will be ringing you today or tomorrow. Found out they haven't sent something called a work flow request over which is why the smart meter team couldn't send someone out. This is absolutely terrible not to mention having a 24 grand bill looming over our head!!

Very happy. as previous communication had not been registered, due to issues with my smart meter as it has not been set up as yet (over 18 months) due to signalling issues. I have decided to ring my meter reading over every quarter instead !

i called sse with so many problems and i spoke to nika mandiki a agent over the phone. he explained everything and put everything into details. He helped me so much, very calm and collected. Nika mandiki also emails from time to time to stay on top. i really would like to say if you get nika mandiki over the phone you will be able to sort your problems or at least come up with a plan.

I've had a frustrating experience with SSE Business regarding my clients' accounts for two separate properties. Over the last six months, we've been charged for the wrong meters, leading to significant billing errors. Despite numerous calls and discussions with several representatives, the issue remained unresolved. However, I finally got through to someone who was genuinely helpful—Nika. He has been outstanding in helping us get to the bottom of the problem and initiating the steps needed to correct it. While I still have an open complaint with SSE and await a full resolution, Nika's support has been the only bright spot in this situation. Thank you, Nika, for your help and dedication. SSE could certainly benefit from more representatives like you. 5 STARS ONLY FOR NIKA NOT SSE.

Scammers.
Scammers. We signed up with Just Energy after hearing their sales pitch at a Sam's Club. They ended up charging us double what our previous company had, lied to us about it, and always seemed like they were just trying to get us off the phone. After the first month we went back to our old energy company, and after doing some research and reading reviews canceled the credit card we used to pay Just Energy because so many people are stating they'll charge you anyway as long as they have that info. They've since been trying to call us all the time, sent e-mails, etc and we've just been blocking the numbers and marking the e-mails as spam and such. The straw that broke the camel's back was Saturday. We were alerted to a line of credit that was opened without our permission trying to charge us for the past few months all at once and labeling it as delinquent payments. Tanked our credit score, and we had to wait until today to call the credit companies and sort this out. We told them everything, provided receipts, and said we want it removed from our credit history. We're also going to be contacting law enforcement to see what they can do about this because enough is enough. Read reviews across all the major websites and see for yourself how bad people are reporting this place as. And if you see their reps in stores don't talk to them, and if they're coming door to door in your neighborhood ignore them - and call the cops for trespassing if they're insistent and won't leave as I've seen a few reviews state.

I closed my account with just energy 1 year ago paid everything,and because of an error or mistake on their system it showed that I owe them $194 even that I have a email from the company that my account is closed and paid off, nobody try to fix it and they just sent these amount the a collection.

Poor customer service, punished for card fraud
Moved to this energy company in August after a recommendation from a friend and so far I have had no issues at all. However, I was recently a victim of credit card fraud where I lost quite a bit of money and so my card was cancelled. This then meant my Autopay was not successfully taken, however the minute I was notified of this I paid immediately. Just Energy also confirmed that they could see my card had been cancelled due to fraud. However, despite this, I was still charged a $20 late payment fee. My account shows that no payments have ever been missed. You would think that there would be certain circumstances and contexts where a late payment fee is not issued. As it seems I have been penalised further for having my credit card cloned which was obviously an upsetting experience to go through and completely out of my control. Customer service hasn't exactly been great regarding this matter. Currently wouldn't reccommend to anyone and will be moving companies as soon as my contract is up.

These people charged me on my Enbridge bill and keep transferring me to different departments not taking accountability that I have been incorrectly billed for a smart thermostat that I do not have nor have ever had. They owe me over $2000 and I am considering going to small claims court. They are crooks. Do not ever sign on to any of their services. It will be a nightmare to cancel them.

FRAUDE
I was in my home with my 2 children when I opened the door he presented himself as Lee with just Energy. I told him, I am with Reliant and have a good rate with them. He said that Reliant had a base fee and that Just Energy didn't. Sales Agent Lee said, that Just Energy, would only charge me for the consumption of the energy, and no base fee or other charges would be charged. He said I assure you, you will pay less than what you pay at Reliant!. I then let him know that I had a contract with Reliant and that they have a CANCELLATION FEE and he said JUST ENERGY pays cancellation fee in its entirety. I then told him that I was not interested but he was talking with my children already so he said to sign some documents and he will make sure that Reliant gets their cancellation fee. I HAD NO CHOICE! But to sign the documents he had on his tablet fast because I was afraid for my children as I had my baby in my hands and the sales agent wouldn't let me close the door. After this, I was charged an early cancellation fee of $295 from Reliant. JUST ENERGY DIDN'T PAY ANYTHING. I contacted supervisor Jude on August 22, 2024, and He said that the sales agent Lee lied to me because they do have a base fee and other charges but that he does not work for them anymore so they couldn't do anything to help me. Supervisor Jude said if I cancel the contract I will be responsible for another $195 cancellation fee from Just Energy. The electricity bill that they are sending me says $224 when normally with reliant was at $60-130. Now, I am stuck with a contract that I was forced to get into. If I cancel I will have to pay them almost $500 for the month and cancellation fees. To correct this situation, I am requesting a refund of the cancellation fee of $295 that was charged to my bank account by Reliant, and to cancel this contract without the cancellation fee along with the insane bill of $225 for this month.

Think twice before signing a contract with this company. They have something in the fine print that says you owe them $4000 if you cancel the contract after 3 days. I had to cancel mine because they misquoted the output of the panels vs my actual need for my house, but they drug me through court and I ended up paying that penalty anyway

Erus energy destroyed two fuses and a transformer when turning off and on my power, including a ceiling fan. The repairman from Erus took two weeks just to figure out what was wrong with my ceiling fan telling me constantly “I don’t know.” Soon after I notice that my A/C is having issues. The repairman did not even look at the HVAC system when I first mentioned the issues to him and said to me that he even is having HVAC issues himself and doesn’t know what’s wrong with it. Yet he told his company confidently that they were not responsible for the damages. Erus energy told me that it wasn’t physically possible for the power surge that they created to cause damage to my HVAC. Yet, one can simply google it and there are several articles that will state otherwise. Not to mention the written statements by those that repaired my HVAC stating that that was what caused the issues. It has been about 3 months since of calling and waiting. After three months Erus Energy agreed to pay me half of what I had to pay to get my HVAC repaired “just to be nice” BUT only if I sign away liability. I have just been constantly insulted the entire time. Not to mention that they decided to attach their box RIGHT NEXT TO A WINDOW…It looks awful and it will be harder to sell my home like this one day. I have told Erus Energy that, to be fair, if they pay me the $900 that they owe me for getting my HVAC repaired And move the box, then I will take off this negative review and call it a day.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service once panels were installed and they were paid. My system, 25 panels, was installed the beginning of November but not turned on until January. Tried to have the system turned on in December but it failed inspection and no tech was on site to resolve the issue. Once the system was turned on, I was just another person. No instructions on how to reset anything. Not treated like a paying customer. I received information to monitor the system by email. The system was online for 1 day and that's it. I called Erus Energy for answers to some questions. I was told to read the instructions on getting it back online, because if they had to send someone out they would charge me a service fee. Really? A service fee? Well I could not follow the steps because there was no power to the system. I called Erus again and was told they created a work order and someone would call me. I never received a call until day 8. The electric company came to my house, on day 6 of the system being offline, to find out why they were not getting a signal. They showed me what was going on and how to correct it. Why did Erus Energy not take a minute of their time and tell me where to find everything I needed to get power to the system? I am not happy with this company's customer service, or should I say they have no customer service. They were great until the installation was complete. After that I felt I was just an annoyance to them. Especially this last week trying to learn my system and how to monitor/maintain it.

I received a message from debt collection, I have to download the bill from debt collection agency. In order to pay it, I think it's kind of really stupid. And there was no bill on their website. So basically I have to waste my time and call this company on Monday and tell them stop being retards. Send your bills so I can pay them.

Incompetence
Made a deal with them during Black Friday period. 15.1. was supposed to start, nothing. Still couldn’t see any contract. Contacted them and their answer was - due to technical error they couldn’t confirm the contract. The contract was confirmed on 21.11. Then they offered me another contract with high monthly fees. Just incompetent service. Sad I even considered them. Charging you extra if you don’t use over 1000kwh per year… Next time I’ll choose a reliable company. No app to use either.

This company is supposed to be cheap however they work with octopus energy my friend has moved to a new build and I pay his bills for him however they are supposed to be cheaper standing charge plus unit rate But they actually charge more than EDF and other companies they tried charging 160.00 for a months electric and this is not going down the usage but up all the time these are in this for profit from the elderly which is shameful the amount of units they say he is using is a joke he has a TV fridge and a freezer however he seems to be paying for the hole block of 49 residents they also charge for underfloor heating Evan when not on and hot water heated by liters to each resident but they all share the same system so this is wrong also they have no means of monitoring unit usage as a bee box does only monitor heating so they over charge each residents so sero can have a profit to they need removing and each apparent there own meter so please stay clear of sero they are not cheap but a lot more expensive than any other suppliers oh and the block of apartments has over 200 solar panels which does not benefit the residents all there bills are guess work so they can make a profit as the apparents are also supposed to be the new economy rating price cheap wise but is just more expensive than any other build

Avoid at all costs
I decided to switch to Flogas because I thought I was going to get a better deal, but what a mistake that was. I submitted my application, got an email confirming everything was processed, and was told I'd receive my welcome letter soon. But then, out of nowhere, I get bills from my previous provider at the full rate, because apparently, I wasn't in contract with anyone. So I call Flogas customer service, and they tell me there’s no account under my name, then transferred me to sales. The sales agent finally admitted that my application was never processed, but he couldn’t even offer me a reason why. I’ve wasted hours of my life—5 or 6 hours across multiple calls—just trying to get some answers. Every time I spoke to customer service, they bounced me to sales, who would just send me back to customer service. No one seemed to have a clue, and no one could fix anything. Now, I get a bill that doesn't reflect my discount at all, and when I call about it, they tell me it’s an "estimated bill." Are you kidding me? I only signed up 2 months ago, and now they’re telling me I need to call every two months just to get an accurate bill, otherwise, I’ll keep getting estimated charges. This is beyond frustrating. I can't wait until my renewal date to leave Flogas behind for good. This entire experience has been a nightmare.

One of the worse customer service interactions I have ever had
I tried to switch to flogas, as I thought I was going to get a better deal. After I submitted my application, I received email communication that it has gone through and that I will shortly receive my welcome letter. However, I never received that letter and to my surprise a month later I got a letter from my previous provider saying that my electricity supply will be cut off shortly as the property had not been registered to any provider. I then called flogas customer service who said that there was no account in my name and then transferred me to the sales department. The agent clarified that the application was never actually processed but he couldn't give me an explanation as to why that was and why no one had reached out to inform me about this. He then proceeded to ask for my current meter readings so that he can process the application. I then refused to provide any further details until I could get a clear explanation as to why my initial application hadn't been processed. He then proceeded to say that he would end the call if I didn't follow his directions. Very rude and arrogant. Trying to get the meter readings without even addressing the reason behind their mistake and on top of it all threatening me that he will end the call. Such an unpleasant and frustrating experience. They were not considerate about the fact that my supply would have been cut off due to their mistake. I want nothing to do with this company and I have proceeded with a different provider. Better deals doesn't always mean that they are trustworthy. I had to learn this the hard way. Never dealing with them again.

I contacted them and they come out within the hour.A young and helpful man set out to work and I have to say was really helpful in his work as well as reassuring me that the damage wasn't as bad as it seemed. Although it didn't look that way for me. Once completed I was more then happy to pay for the service he provided considering it was cheaper then I had gotten quoted from another company.

Bonjour, société a fuir !!! J'appelle pour faire mettre le gaz et l'électricité après coupure de Engie en plein mois de janvier (facture pourtant honoré tout les mois ... Bref). Ilek me dit un prélèvement de cinquante et quelques pour le gaz et un quelques pour l'électricité seulement j'ai eu 4 prélèvement les deux la et un de vingt et quelques et trente et quelques qu'on m'avait pas dit bref j'appelle et on me répond c'est une facture (la blague) je venais de souscrire et tarifs qui n'a aucun sens de plus que les 130€ de facture de gaz du mois on été prélevé et maintenant menaces d'avoir enclenché les coupures gaz et électricité !!!
