You are a charity that receives money to caretake our heritage, NOT impose your political views on intelligent, paying members of the public, who are capable of free thought. You might want to look into the TRUE agenda behind the Marxist BLM movement, before thinking it's a good idea to throw your political cap into the arena. Get back to doing what you're paid to do, which is to look after our heritage, NOT slag it off and hold it up to ridicule. We are also disgusted by your recent begging mission on tv - maybe if your lefty CEO was to slash his £190k per year wages, you might have more money to spend on looking after the properties. We have cancelled our family membership, and will not be visiting any NT properties again until you ditch the virtue signalling, and get rid of the stupid restrictions you currently have everywhere.

The NT's decision to move into religion is a bad one. No-one wants to pay to be lectured by a preacher telling us how bad the former slave traders/ owner were, as they wander around a stately home, yet that is what they are moving into. But as they are, why not go the whole hog and demolish all of these foul monuments to the ill gotten gains of our ancestral evil white people - ie flatten their entire built estate and salve their entire white guilt ?

The BBC and the NT? Both woke, both poring over acts committed long ago by a minority of rich, exploitative people who are long-dead. Well, like tens of millions of others, my British ancestors were poor, dirty and hungry, working in dangerous conditions to make others rich. So don't guilt-trip me over other people's wealthy ancestors. My NT membership has been cancelled. And the BBC needs to pay attention - because if people can ever unsubscribe from the BBC without threat of imprisonment, then the NT's declining membership and dwindling income is the BBC's future.

Visited Blickling Hall in Norfolk today. The NT website said cafe open. When we arrived there was a limited selection, no facilities to eat in and all outside seating removed. We are Tier 2 and we can go to tea shops elsewhere, and pubs, and eat inside but not mix households. I am finding the NT is not being responsive to members' needs. Making us sit outside in drizzle and cold 6 degrees is not on. Reviewing whether we wish to continue to be members of NT which is handling this very badly. Oh, and that's not an empty threat!

Visited Hanbury Hall Worcestershire yesterday. Had a lovely walk as usual. Very disappointed though that the seating area for eating and coffees outside was closed. Yet the kiosk was selling food and teas/coffees. V few places to sit. This was not the case last month. Also the toilet by the car park ( some distance from the main block at the Courtyard) was now shut. I see no reason for these changes. I suspect it is to do with minimising the amount of cleaning needed. But it makes me less likely to visit and less likely to renew my National Trust membership.

Well done National Trust for not being bullied by the far right. Imagine thinking that acknowledging facts about our heritage and sources of historical wealth in this country is something to hide. We are family members and support you and applaud you particularly at this difficult time. 👏

Having now cancelled my 15 yesrs of NT membership, because of their Woke virtue signalling and attempts to shame us on our national history , they tried to retain us through a offer on an annual membership discount!!,,beggars belief. I would question if they truely believe in their agenda, why do they need to engage the services of a Spin Marketing agency to back paddle on their anti colonial stance.

Impossible for my elderly parents to cancel their membership. They are now too disabled to travel to NT sites. They can't get through on phone line and they won't accept email from me, but are happy to take the annual direct debit regardless. Seems like a very immoral way to treat members.
