Professional and reliant

Kept informed every step of the way. Rhiana was excellent in dealing with any enquiries. The team that fit the air source heat pump and hot water cylinder were especially efficient, and consulted me every step of the way. Very professional. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give a 6 star review

I wish I could give a 6 star review. Spoke to Daniel who could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond, with a helpful friendly manner. He was not only polite but efficient and on the ball. Definitely recommend this company.

Excellent service all the way.

LMF Energy Services recently fitted solar panels and a battery system for us. We had the initial quote through the Solar Together Liverpool City Region scheme. LMF carried out a survey and confirmed the cost for everything. The whole installation went extremely smoothly. The scaffolding was in place a couple of days before the fitting. On the day of the installation the electricians arrived in the morning and got everything ready for the panels to be fitted later in the day. They ran through how the battery system worked and helped set-up the app on the phone. The lads who came to fit the panels were superb. They explained step by step what they were going to do and kept me updated as they carried out the work. Everything was completed and the system up and running by mid afternoon. Excellent service all round!

LMF carried out the eco4 Grant on my Cottage

LMF carried out the eco4 Grant on my cottage, energy efficiency G (Like a cave). From start to finish they were clear with the work being carried out, what to expect (internal wall insulation is intrusive) accurate dates of the teams carrying out the work. Around 6 weeks later I have a warm house! full internal wall insulation, room in roof insulation, solar panels, extractor fans, new Air source heat pump heating system and more. A shout out to Zoe.H who managed the project, made it all happen smoothly! Kev and Jay who done all internal wall insulation, what a job! My OCD was at ease with these boys, working around all the character features of the property. Overall I highly recommend, so much so iv booked in for my rental property to have work done this month :)

Avoid! Faulty system and terrible customer service.

I have not had my panels for long, but an alarm showed up on the system. The fault is potentially dangerous, and there is no energy being saved. It has been like this for two months. I have contacted the company three times and have been promised a call back and an engineer to come out and solve the problem, but no-one has even called me back. Terrible customer service! Avoid.

LMF were overall very good, just some of the sub contractors were a problem

LMF were overall very good. From Dan to Sam we had excellent communication. The only shortfall in communication from LMF was between the project coordinator and the project manager and the contractors themselves. They all seemed to be following a different schedule! We actually never knew who was coming on what day. The experience with the main subcontractor (radiators heat pump and hwc) was less impressive than with LMF and the other contractors. They were clearly competent but ruthless in their effort to complete the work in a single day. They were scheduled to arrive on the Monday but only arrived on the Tuesday. Perhaps if they had used two days instead of one it may have been a better experience. I suspect they were behind schedule and using our installation to catch up. They arrived all 4 of them at 8 am Tuesday. We were not expecting them as they were supposed to show up the previous day. We were still asleep when they arrived. I sprang out of bed in my underpants to find 4 blokes standing at the door ringing the bell. They hardly introduced themselves and barged their way inside telling me they had to check the layout of the house and then get started. The leader then told me he would have to install the hwc in the garage and I should show him the garage. Still in my underpants I took him outside and into the very tightly packed garage. He changed his mind at that stage and elected to follow the agreed procedure and install the hwc in the place of the other - I suspect he was looking for shortcuts. I then escaped to my study where I was desperately trying to clothe myself when the self elected leader re-ema\erged and barged in on me to tell me that the password on the back of my router wasn't correct. Amazed that he had off his own bat pulled it off the wall and then barged in on me to - I realised that this was going to be a trying day - I wasn't wrong! I dressed in about three minutes, explained that my set up used a different password etc and gave him my password. By this stage the team were pulling up floorboards etc etc. and the refit had started. My wife were still trying to dress herself in the main bedroom. The leader and I had clearly got off to a bad start and despite my efforts to smooth things over in the interest of the job, they continued to worsen. The other members of this team were fine and showed some good manners, however the leader was short on both manners and social intelligence. At some point I asked that the old fittings be put aside and not on the fast growing rubbish pile outside the front door. I wanted to recycle them. Leader told me that if this was to be the procedure they would not be removing any of the rubbish and I would have to arrange disposal myself. He said this was their standard procedure. I reached for my phone to call LMF project cordinator at which point he quickly changed his mind. I could go on, however most of the work seems to have been done to a good standard and I have never seen people work as quickly as this bunch, they were very driven, not even stopping to eat food. Hopefully it doesn't all fall apart in two years time. The floor boards that weren't correctly replaced etc are on my own todo list. I am however very grateful for the end result and to LMF for arranging it all. Had I been paying for this myself I would not have tolerated the experience of the installation team.

Amazing new heating system

The workers were all pleasant, respectful and largely able to work around us. A lot of people did a lot of work to improve the energy rating of our house. It was not easy having the work done but now that it is done we are glad that we applied for it. The company was efficient in ensuring that the work went smoothly and as one trade finished the next followed soon after.
