feeling a bit paved !

Ordered our paving, and the money taken from my account. Waited a week for delivery. Phoned to see when it might be arriving. Got an email to say, 'Sorry, out of stock'. Another week has passed. I haven't heard anything more. Feeling paved off.

Half the delivery arrived with no explanation then had to spend 1.5 hours on the phone to find out why.

Awful service

Awful service. Goods bought March 31st, advised they should arrive in a few days. Chased updates via email and phone (on hold between 1 - 2 hours each time) and was finally told the product was out of stock on April 13th. Ended up cancelling the order and sourcing a local alternative. On the flip side, the refund was processed very efficiently. ‘Every cloud’ etc...

Major issues with (non) delivery

I read the reviews and the delivery issues but thought I would order in plenty of time, but still was left disappointed. Firstly it says free UK delivery, I live on the England/Wales border near Wrexham and was charged per pallet, obviously Wales is not in the UK. My order was pending for a week, and then after a 2hour wait to talk to someone, was told my order was being picked up the next day. I received a call saying that the delivery to me was going to be the following Wednesday (another week delay), so I ordered a forklift and booked the labour (4 pallets of flags to move). Despite numerous calls on the Wednesday and even being told ‘we can see it being loaded now and will be with you in the hour’ it did not arrive. Thursday pretty much the same, more excuses and no delivery, and was then promised Friday before 10 after explaining the fork lift was off hire by then. It arrived at 11.00 and fork lift was gone, and the delivery driver had a broken pallet truck. I ended up with the cost of 3 men’s time for 3 days and a hire of a forklift for no reason. It is no point the company blaming the delivery company, they employ them and they are accountable. The product and cost is fine, the actual delivery and communication is nothing short of shocking. Don’t do what I did and ignored the reviews, pay a little more and go elsewhere.

My order was nearly two weeks late

My order was nearly two weeks late. When it eventually arrived some of the slabs were broken. Customer service was poor, nearly 2 hrs on the phone before I could speak to someone. Very disappointed!

Only half the order turned up

Only half the order turned up, I was told the rest would follow by the end of the week, it did not. I phoned Paving Superstore they told me it had been dispatched and I should talk to the delivery company. After several phone calls with the delivery company (who I would also give one star), we established the 2nd half of the order had not been dispatched. Phoned Paving Superstore back and they denied that I had already phoned them, said ‘this is the first I’m hearing of it’. I still do not have my order and my builders have moved onto a new job because they did not have the materials to finish the job.

Rowlingson Swing Seat

I ordered a Rowlingson Swing Seat for my garden. When it eventually arrived it was missing all the metal components including hanging chains and fixings so I had to call to organise these to be sent. I waited 90 minutes for my call to be answered and they agreed to send out but not on a quick delivery despite this being their mistake. The chain arrived and was the wrong size so I ended up going to B and Q to buy new chain as I couldn’t face another 90 minutes wait time to speak to someone.

90%Happy with load.couple of breakages. Delivery driver a nightmare. Rang the company said they would ring a hour before. They never and left me in the mire.
