After an extensive vetting process, I explained my situation to Tax Rise, and they assured me they could help. However, after paying over 3K in a year, they did nothing. When I pressed them about their inaction, they claimed to have negotiated the best settlement possible. The settlement they referred to was the work of another firm made before hiring Tax Rise. Tax Rise was fully aware of the previous arrangement before taking my money. No rebate or guarantee was honored. I'd been better off paying the money on the tax bill.
