You appoint this company and then…

You appoint this company and then forget that they will complete your process on time. They are friendly when taking case but when you sign contract with them they will hardly reply or update you. You will have to spend hours every day waiting on phone to get updates. Staff will go to holidays for months and other staff will not take over your file for processing. You will have to apply to your bank for extension time of mortgage as they took nearly 8 months to complete mine.Very slow to process and answering queries. Landlord was about to pull off because of completion delay by this company because property was empty and landlord was loosing rent which i had to compensate him to keep the deal. If you willing to wait 7/8 months for completion than go to this company otherwise stay away from them. There is no option to give zero star otherwise i would have given zero star.

If I could give a rating of 0

If I could give a rating of 0, I would! Not only are they unprofessional but also completely incompetent and issued invoices for unfair / undeserved charges! Paid them a fortune for probate administration that was, not only half done, but was done so slowly that it took over a year to get the grant certificate (and incurred fines from HMRC). Now recently found out that the submitted figures weren't even correct and an element of the estate was even liable for IHT (which we've already paid!) so now having to liaise directly with HMRC to try and get rebate! PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Just look at the rest of the reviews & don't believe the responses that the firm gives denying responsibility.

Not 5 star but good service

Their website doesn't work properly to upload documents, but they are fast to respond by email and quite flexible. The purchase of my property went well and Anita the paralegal that helped me was very kind, responsive and efficient.

Horrendous stay away

Do not sign up for a house sale or purchase. I am about to lose the sale of my property because they have not even made a start after several weeks. My buyers solicitor has been trying to contact them for the last 2 weeks and has had no response. I have been emailing, calling and leaving messages and nothing! It's like they don't exist. The direct number is an automated message saying no one is available it does not state who and when I call customer services I'm told someone will call me back but they don't. Awful service 😢 If anyone from my law matters reads this please call me!!!

Thank you to Anjeela for her support and help. Although the process was a challenge, due to various issues with the sale side, the purchase matter, dealt by My law matters and Anjeela’s team went well. Good communication overall.

do not use my law matters or fentimans law they are the worst conveyancers .45 mins on hold trying to speak to a conveyancer on date of completion they do not respond to emails terribe service
