Excellent service.

Excellent service. Have used MLM for House Purchase and then a transfer of equity. Both times they've been great. Abraham George was really responsive, and guided me through the process. Couldn't recommend enough!

I recently used this solicitor for my…house sale

I recently used this solicitor for my house sale, and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. The company was exceptionally professional, affordable, and impressively quick and efficient in handling my sale. Anita, my case handler, was outstanding. She was always reachable and kept me informed at every stage of the process. Her dedication and attention to detail ensured a smooth transaction. I was so impressed with their service that I’ve decided to enlist their help for the purchase of my new property as well. I highly recommend this solicitor to anyone in need of reliable and efficient legal assistance.

An awful experience

An awful experience. Lack of communication. Highly unprofessional, prolonged an easy deal and pulled off on completion day. After 6 months of waiting, 3 missed completion dates and 2 weeks left on my mortgage offer. No adequate reason. An absolute nightmare to deal with. I’ve written an official complain and asked for my deposit back. I’ve had still no reply from them. Honestly, my mortgage adviser has black listed them. The stress that I went through, by solicitors that meant to look after me and make me feel safe, especially after they get paid so much money for that… I got blamed by them that it was my fault and I kept changing my mind, which was completely untrue. It was like they’ve never dealt with gifted equity. I felt so lost and so depressed. Buying out my ex from the matrimonial home that I still live in with our daughter shouldn’t ever be that stressful. I can keep going on about it and write names down, but this won’t help either My advice is just go anywhere else but not there!

BRILLIANT SERVICE SELLING A HOUSE

BRILLIANT SERVICE SELLING A HOUSE My Law Matters team at Wolverhampton were very friendly and their prices were extremely competitive compared with other local solicitors. I cannot recommend and thank Anita enough. She helped me sell a house that had a complicated scheme involved. She dealt with both council and solicitors making this process an extremely straight-forward and pleasurable experience. Regular communication was received giving me confidence and keeping me updated on latest position until completion. I would definitely recommend My Law matters and use them again in the future. Thanks a million again Anita and team 🙂

A dreadful, unprofessional, and unapologetic service

I used My Law Matters (Fentiman Legal) as my solicitors during the purchase of my property. The process was marred with issues, poor communication, and unprofessionalism, topped off by an unhelpful and unapologetic complaints procedure. Avoid at all costs. The complaints I raised with My Law Matters are as follows. All were deemed acceptable within the standards of the firm and thus no apology or compensation was offered. I've left the same list of complaints here for you to decide if this is the standard of service you would like to pay for. 1. My solicitor went on holiday during the process, and I was never informed, nor assured as to whether or not progress could be made on my case. I found out my solicitor was missing after talking to the estate agent of the property, who had complained of the process of purchasing slowing. 2. The contract for the sale of the property was riddled with errors when sent to me. My name written incorrectly, my address was incorrect - this was still incorrect after the first amendment, the price of the property was incorrect. After I pointed out the errors, I was asked to sign the contract anyway, and trust that my solicitor would amend the contract when it arrived. This was because the solicitors did not know how to change the PDF format document. 3. On the date set for completion, I was not contacted and told that the lender was not prepared to release funds. It was only after reaching out directly that I learnt of the issue. The lender was not prepared to release funds because of a change in the source of deposit. This change in the source of deposit was discussed over email with my solicitor three weeks prior to this date, and I decided to do so only on the recommendation that it would not complicate the process of purchase. Despite this, it meant that completion could not occur on the agreed upon date. 4. I never once was able to speak to my solicitor Ranjit Bhogal over the phone, despite calling the office on 14 separate occasions. Every time I was given an excuse such as 'in a meeting with clients / away from his desk / working on the matter at hand'. 5. The online progress tracker was rarely updated in a timely fashion and updates on progress had to be forced out over the phone. I was rarely ever contacted directly with updates of progress or issues encountered. 6. I was often assured that the documents I provided upon request were satisfactory, only to then receive further requests weeks after, causing more delays. 7. I have never received a direct and sincere apology at any stage for any for the meagre services provided, and the serious delays the were incurred at the responsibility of Fentiman Legal (My Law Matters). The complaints procedure that I then followed was defensive, dismissive, and unhelpful. My Law Matters were the source of all stresses during the process of buying and I now actively tell anyone I meet looking to buy to avoid them like the plague.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT SERVICE!

WILLS – REVIEWS ON MY LAW MATTERS, URMSTON – MARCH 2024 We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jane Molden, Legal Executive at My Law Matters in Urmston, Manchester, to carry out Will work. We were amazed with Jane’s grasp of our legal needs in connection with our complicated Wills and we were given extremely efficient advice and service. Jane undertood our requirements very well and carried them out very professionally. Our Wills were turned round in two weeks, including drafts, and everything was fully explained to us including being given commentaries on our initial requirements meeting. The subsequent Wills were well-structured and easily understandable. Additionally, the My Law Matters team at Urmston were very friendly and their prices were extremely competitive compared with other local solicitors. We cannot recommend Jane highly enough and are very grateful to her for making this process an extremely straight-forward and pleasurable experience.
