Literally got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had with any sort of solicitor ever. This would of been a investment property i was buying and I weren’t pushing it as much. This was around April 2022 when my offer was accepted. I completed everything my side and was constantly on emails/phone to them trying to get then going. 6 weeks after offer being accepted i called them to see how things was going, they hadnt even started the searches, i then get the manager’s attention who apologies for me for the terrible time im having. 5 months later i finally cave in and pull out, the seller ends up putting property on the market around the 4 month mark. Absolute shambles, suppose i deserve this for being cheap and choosing the cheapest solicitors.

The whole process was remote and over email, phone calls and their built in website, which is very convenient for me as i’m from Manchester and usually always very busy. Even though this process took 6 months, it was because of the other side but A & S always kept me updated and were super friendly with everything in terms of explaining each process and keeping me in the loop. My only comment would be the final price of the service was higher than the original estimated cost due to extra searches and procedures needing carrying out, which is absolutely fine but being kept updated with the extra costs incurring would be useful. Apart from this, great service.
