I had been with Mopp since last October. They were awful start to finish, I never had the same cleaner, never the same time. Not very good cleans, every week they'd ring to ask where my key was. One cleaner set of my alarm costing me £130 because Mopp didnt save my details, Mopp offered £100, so I have now finally come to the end of my credit and can leave. They are so bad the CEO offered to ring me after I tweeted him about it, he asked a good time to call I said, but he never rang. This just showed who is running the company. AWFUL AWFUL - do not use

We were both excited coming in from work to see our clean house- this did not happen. We wasted £50 & were left gutted. We asked for the skirting boards, doors, mirrors & bathrooms to be done. The family bathroom was cleaned but I am struggling to see what else she did. My husband was here when she arrived & explained what we wanted cleaned- she couldn't speak English which probably didn't help!!! We sent pictures of our skirting boards & doors to the company to complain but apparently they were not sufficient enough for a refund!!!! I never leave negative reviews anywhere but I am so angry we wasted £50 on the company MOPP, please don't do the same.

Easy and user friendly, an impeccable service already highly recommended. Definitely to be used again. 5 star!

Save hassle and another co instead! I had to threaten to sue Mopp - it has moved me to write this review to warn others! After 3rd different cleaner was going to be sent for 4th clean I stopped the service. Who wants complete strangers in their house?! Not even anything to highlight its a different cleaner is coming. As 2nd cleaner had my keys (given to them after meeting and as Mopp suggests most people do on their site) Mopp ignored all requests to get them to do anything to get keys back from cleaner 2. For 6 days!! Had to get lawyers and the police involved before getting my keys back. Still not a sausage from anyone let alone a director / founder despite repeated requests. Feel treated with arrogance and disdain. Call centre staff disclaimed all liability (invalidly I was advised) and washed hands of it. Eventually had to get cleaners address to go round and get keys where she too was livid with them, explaining her probs with co [details removed]. it turns out they had never passed on her messages to me despite her repeated calls. So we had both spent hours of time and bonded over frustration with incompetence and arrogance of Mopp. Avoid!!

I came across Mopp after reading an article in The Telegraph that recommended their services. Hiring a cleaner had always seemed an extravagance, or even a bit of a risk before, but the great price and promise of a trusted cleaner brought me in! Booking was really easy, I went on their website, put in my post code, said how long I needed the clean for, and that was it! I have a 2 bedroom house, and booked a one off 3 hour clean. My cleaner was really friendly, and I now have the same cleaner who comes once a fortnight. She does a really good job, and whenever I've had to speak to Mopp they've been really helpful!

As my first and second reviews were deleted I thought I would repost them. I booked a cleaner for the 7th April as I was on leave and hoped to get a one-off clean done. The cleaner was due to arrive at 9:00. I got a call from Mopp on the day to say she would now only be arriving at 12:00. At 12:10 there was no sign of her and I then received a call from Mopp to say that she was lost. The cleaner called me and said she had got so lost (she only lives 4 miles away from my home) that she was now an hour away. By 13:50 there was no sign of her so I called the company and asked where she was. They called me back and said they were unable to get hold of her. I told them to leave it as I didn't have time to wait. The gentleman apologised and asked me when I wanted to reschedule the cleaner for. I told him 08:00 on the 15th April. He assured me this was booked. This morning (14th April) I got a call from a Mopp employee who was obviously absent the day they taught customer service, to say that he was having difficulty getting me a cleaner. I told him I had been assured that one had been booked for me. He said (and this is classic) 'we only book them the day before!' I asked for the manager to call me back. She said she would attempt to find me a cleaner but 20 minutes later she called back to say there were none available! She said she would refund me and offered me a free clean in the future!!!! I wanted the cleaner they had promised me on both occasions! No way will I EVER use or recommend this company and I will make sure that I spread the word! They are con-artists and I will be reporting them for false advertising!!!! UPDATE: I contacted one of the company's founders and he attempted to sort the problem out. I was guaranteed a cleaner today, 17th April at 10:00. I received an email at 10:00 to say the cleaner had cancelled!

In fact this is the worst cleaning service I had in my life. Lots of areas in the house was not cleaned appropriately and there was lots of dust and spots on the ground everywhere!!! The cleaner didn't have even enough cleaning materials or towels (she was using dirty towels) that will deliver the quality cleaning. I had to provide some liquids and towels even to help. The house was not shiny or clean and I had to clean again myself all-over to correct up the mess. Floor was sticky and had spots. she didn't touch the areas under the coach even although she said she did. The oven was so so dirty and greasy as well as the kitchen table, and dishes. Bathroom had spots on the floor and dust was everywhere in bedrooms. I was expecting the normal good quality cleaning that leaves my house shiny, clean, fresh and tidy. That would be enough for me. Furthermore , I wrote down a complain to the company asking for total refund or complementary cleaning with another trusted cleaner but again I was shocked with the way of situation handling as they refused to compensate me and trusted the cleaner who has been telling lies about how clean she was. They obviously trust the cleaner more than the customer!! Seriously disappointed by the level of service provides by the cleaner and the way of company management.

We needed our small flat dusted from top to bottom from recent building works and then cleaned. Booking through Mopp was really straight forward the website is easy to use with a great interface. The confirmation email was quick and clear stating who would be coming over. Simona was quick to get started and didn't stop the whole time. She was lovely to have in the house and good to chat with. I'll be using the service again.

I'm a disabled lady who struggles to carry out cleaning and housework due to pain and lack of mobility. My husband works long hours and isn't able to do it either. Spending long periods of time at home, I was watching the house getting messier and dirtier. It was time for action! I was very cautious when looking up cleaning companies as I've had unreliable cleaners in the past who grumble when asked to do something or who cut corners. I didn't want to be tied into regular weekly cleans, contracts etc. and also wanted the opportunity to use my favourite cleaning materials (strong smelling bleach isn't good for an asthmatic!) I was thrilled to come across Mopp.com - an easy to use website (and app), excellent Q&A section which was very reassuring and value for money fees payable online with email confirmations. My cleaner arrived 10 minutes early (a great first impression), he was smartly dressed in his Mopp t-shirt, very friendly but courteous.
