It really isn’t worth the hassle of getting bunch to sort bills. They pay bills late (I’m being chased by Thames water to pay an outstanding bill since May). They are a lot more expensive and more hassle than just going direct. I would avoid at all costs. I’m disappointed I went with them and got fooled by their promotion tactics.

DO NOT use this company
I was with the bunch between April 2023 & May 2024. During that time they used Rebel energy as their utility provider, who have some of the highest rates. I never received a smart meter & their online portal live usage tool was showing that I was using £300 per month on electricity! (single tenant btw) even though I was sending in monthly meter readings. I was paying the bunch £205 per month for electricity & water (& their £10 fee). I pay nowhere near that now with British Gas & Anglican water. When my contract ended, they did not refund what was owed to me within their 8 week period. I had to chase them up constantly. Not one time did they reach out to me first to provide me with an update. I think they hope that you’ll forget. Only after months of chasing and putting in a formal complaint, did they pay me what I was owed in November 2024. I’m not entirely convinced that they paid me correctly, but I was so tired of them that I was just pleased to get something rather than nothing. The whole 18 months dealing with The Bunch was very expensive & stressful. I highly recommend you DO NOT sign up with them (even if you do see some good reviews) & if you are in your cooling off period, get out now! It’s just not worth the hassle. Their customer service is so bad. I felt they were fighting against me, not trying to help me. Never before have I had to contact the ombudsman for advice and consider legal action against a company. I’m just pleased I no longer have to deal with them & hope this review saves someone from months of ‘expensive stress’!

Sold as a hassle free option, but it causes more hassle
All I want to do is pay for my usage and nothing else. There have been ongoing problems since I joined them in February 2024. I have been on the phone with them multiple times, I asked them what I was paying as the daiy standing fee, he said 61p…. I looked today I’m actually paying 94p! It’s pretty much double other suppliers, they have no clue what they’re doing, haven’t paid the water once yet so I’m paying that then paying for this, my electricity bill is absurd despite giving regular meter readings. I’m fine with teething problems, but this is NOT what was sold to me by the moving company, I expect I’m going to be severely out of pocket now but I’m determined to switch. They’re trying to say we have used £11,578 in just electricity in 11 months. Just my partner and I and our 3 kids, a normal family… yet they keep trying to take mass amounts out of bank each month without my approval, when the dispute over the outrageous electric bill is ongoing. Anyone viewing this can see it doesn’t make any sense.
