Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company, to the point that all of the good reviews must actually be fake. Try to contact them, and get a bot, that forces you to send an email, which is a minimum of 3 days for a reply. Try to call them, wait an hour, for a call centre in another country, that can’t help with anything anyway. Everything is slow, when it comes to helping you. But fast when they want to take payments for utilities you haven’t used. I hope someone finds this useful, if you are thinking about it. Don’t! Steer clear, sort out your bills yourself.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. We have had an absolutely terrible experience with Bunch. As others have said, bills jumping up from £240 to £504 a month based on 'estimates' and once we started sending them MULTIPLE meter readings they have kept charging us the same amount for months now to the penny and are clearly automatically charging us. When we call them there's no explanation. It's just two of us in a flat, and we do not use much energy at all, in fact, we are cold all the time. We are extremely stressed, there's absolutely no transparency and no communication.

Totally ridiculous- this company is a mess.

After a few months of charging us £433 for electricity for a one bed tiny flat because The Bunch ridiculously underestimated our usage and then suddenly expected us to pay triple, we’ve now been charged a normal amount but TWICE? What is wrong with this company?

Well I've posted a review here earlier just a couple of weeks back around receiving a ridiculous bill which was an increment of over 100% to what I had initially agreed to pay. The reply I received from Bunch was that they'll look into this, but till date I haven't received a single outreach email from them. The Bunch claims that I've overused energy when clearly I've not. There is zero proof that was shared by them for this frivolous claim. There is zero transparency as well around all of this. All I have been receiving is standard replies from Yasmin and Amelia and these days my mails are not even being acknowledged. Take a look for yourself at the other reviews posted around Trustpilot and you'll find that there are several others, literally every 1 in 4/5 people who have complained about this problem. I would say please please please refrain from even thinking about taking their service and be in a soup like me!!!! Scamsters!!!!!!

Avoid at all costs - debt collectors letters!

Avoid at all costs! I set up The Bunch for a property I was renting and have now moved out of and waiting for my final bills. My letting agent contacted me back in September to advise of a letter from South East Water requesting payment for a bill. I contacted The Bunch who advised the water team would deal with this. Not only this, they also put my monthly payment up a few months into the contract due to using more than they had predicted, but with no breakdown as to where I was going over and yet they still haven’t paid my bill for water since August! Take more money to not pay the bill anyway. Fast forward to this week whereby my ex landlady is now being contacted by a debt collection agency.

Jordan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Due to an error, Bunch took over £700 from my bank account, for energy that I had not used. This was a huge shock and I was very angry! I phoned Bunch and was lucky enough to get to speak with Jordan. Due to my anger, I was rather rude to begin with, but Jordan was very professional and friendly and put me at ease. Jordan checked what happened, saw that it was an error and promptly issued a refund. We had a good chat about what had happened, and my anger quickly dissipated. Jordan’s empathy and professionalism are an asset to the team. Thank you 😁
