Dreadful company
Dreadful company. My daughter is paying way way over the current energy cap and now they are demanding even more money on top. I have tried to ring and chat to sort this out but no one responds. dreadful company. they seem to profit massively out of vulnerable people and none of the current legislation seems to apply to them. Going to try and get her out of this dreadful contract and away from this unscrupulous company fast but everything in the smash and grab contract is in their favour. Highly suspect this was mis sold through misrepresentation as my daughter had no clear clue what this is all about and despite looking online NEITHER do I . Chloe was so helpful with many a question and missed calls Edit: since singning up I have had an awful experience. This company will hassle you to get your money but will not help you actually access the service they claim to provide. I have had my power cut off and am unable to contact their team or have any meaningful help in solving this problem.

UNI Students BEWARE !!! . pricing and usage agreed up front , and a commitment from THE BUNCH to refund if actual usage was under the suggested usage rates . The group were significantly under all the way through , confirmed by portal updates , and then all of a sudden the bunch claimed there had been a massive change in usage , The numbers quoted would have required all the gas appliances in the house to have been running flat out 24x7 for the reporting period , which was ridiculous . They eventually admitted the error . At the end of the contract they verbally agreed that an under usage refund was due and that they would calculate it . After 6 weeks of chasing they are now claiming each of the tenants owe them nearly £400 EACH . Avoid and find yourselves a more reputable company

Don't use if you live in a flat
The Bunch were responsive when I first signed up. I had a named contact for customer service who was really responsive and helpful. However, I'm 8 months in and they're claiming a need to double my monthly payments with absolutely no evidence as to my usage being anywhere near double the amount I'm currently paying. I have tried to speak to customer service about this, especially as I'm on economy seven electric so need to give my meter readings differently as their portal doesn't work. All I get is automated, unhelpful responses that appear to be bot generated. My original contact email address bounces and I'm not being given any advice on how to leave or switch energy providers. I've also been told this increase is because I can't have a smart meter installed which isn't something I've refused - my building just doesn't have the capacity to have one as it's an older apartment block. This is quite typical for apartment blocks but to double a monthly payment because I can't give them a smart meter reading is ridiculous.
