The Seller was responsive, polite and patient with me as I asked questions. Item was priced fairly and received in excellent condition and earlier than promised.

I had high hopes in 1st dibs but I was incredibly disappointed by the way the platform handled my order. I placed an order which only after paying and contacting 1st dibs about delivery did I realise its delivery time was 2 months. I contacted 1st dibs within 24hrs of placing the order requesting for a cancellation. I received a mail from Rahul informing me that he would contact the seller letting them know it was cancelled. The following day I received an update from Rahul that the order was already shipped but the seller hadn’t supplied a tracking number. I demanded a tracking number as I would not consider it shipped without it. Again he came back confirming it had been shipped but no tracking details shared. I sent 2 more follow ups asking for the tracking details with no response. Eventually I sent a message directly to the seller to which I got this response. “Hi, We have informed 1st dibs 2 times that this piece did NOT ship. I will reach out to them again so you can receive your refund. I am sorry for the confusion.” At this point I sent a very stern message to 1st dibs about the misinformation that was shared with me and that I demanded a refund. 24hrs later I received an email informing me that they where grateful for my feedback and appreciate my patience. No apologies, just ignorance and sweeping the matter under the rug. I will never use f1st dibs again Reply to 1st dibs: 69274042 Am I going mad, can 1st dibs stop gaslighting me. The issue is the lies your employee told me multiple times. I have now been told that I will only receive 290 usd of the 335 spent. How can you justify that. Its absolutely disgraceful how 1st dibs has handled. This. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Do not trust this platform, still waiting for my refund after 2 months. I have to chase them every day and each time the case manager just puts the blame on DHL freight company.
