2 years ago I bought RTX 3080ti for £1300 I used it for a year and then crashed then sent it for repair to fix it came back with out fixing it. I had 3 years warranty on that graphic card. I will never buy anything from Novatech again

Outrageous scalping of RTX 50-series graphics cards, selling base model cards at over £3,500! Instead of condemning the ebay scalpers they have simply joined them, adding 0 value to the process and will inevitably damage their brand as a result. Shame, used to be a reputable outlet.

Gigabyte Aorus Master X670E purchased from novatech in October 2022. All retailers msrp was £550, yet novatech msrp was £500. Seemed like a good deal. Mobo arrived in 2 days. I installed mobo, OS & drivers. Everything OK for c.4 months. Then problems started happening (pc freezing, crashing, blue/pink screen). Hardware not being detected. Problems initially intermittent but became more frequent. Saturday 15/04/23 I was writing an assignment and pc crashed for no reason. Would not reboot. Spent all day trouble shooting hardware, reset CMOS, tested all DIMMS one by one. Still dead. Got fed up and ordered another mobo from Amazon Prime (Asus X670E). Arrived next day. Installed and worked perfectly. Trying to RMA defective GAM-X670E back to novatech criminals was a nightmare. This is a very dishonest company with blatant anti-consumer practices. RMA request finally accepted (19/04/23) but these crooks gave 4 BS excuses to reject my RMA. BS excuse 1 - removal of zif bracket voids warranty because I used a Thermalright AM5 cpu holder instead. I reached out to Gigabyte & Thermalright tech support. They said removal of zif bracket does not void warranty. Novatech did not believe me and wanted proof. I took screenshots of Gigabyte & Thermalright tech support emails and sent to novatech criminals. They did not bother to acknowledge receipt of my email, let alone confirm the information. BS excuse 2 - novatech criminals said I have had the mobo for 6 months, thus not entitled to refund. I replied saying in UK, retailer is legally liable for year 1 of warranty. Then years 2&3 of warranty is upheld by manufacturer. No reply from novatech criminals. BS excuse 3 - novatech criminals accused me of damaging the underside of the mobo, around screw holes (and vicinity) which caused exposed copper plate. I said that is BS. I did not damage the mobo. I also glue mobo insulation gaskets to mobo stand offs to prevent rogue electrical currents from damaging mobo and from physical damage or scratches to mobo (as well as using mobo screws with attached insulation gaskets on top side of mobo). Been using this method for >10 years. BS excuse 4 - novatech criminals then accused me of sending fake photos of another mobo. Oliver (call centre manager) was dealing with my RMA. This guy is a pathological liar. I also emailed Jo in customer services, told her I found 7 other guys on Amazon UK who also bought the GAM-X670E and they all experienced hardware failures. They all RMA'd back to Amazon for refund and purchased Asus, Asrock or MSI X670E mobos instead. I also told this to James (guy who phoned me and confirmed that DIMMs A1 & A2 were defective). I also told the prince of liars (Oliver) this mobo has numerous, inherent manufacturing defects. It is the retailer and manufacturer who are legally liable for providing me with either a full refund or a brand new replacement. Novatech criminals did not give a damn. None of them replied. Also, Jo completely ignored both of my emails when I asked her to email Gigabyte customer service wrt manufacturing defects. The prince of liars sent my vandalised mobo back to me in an unrepaired state. To add insult to injury, novatech criminals also damaged the mobo box. There is a big rip on the top side of the box. I found a youtube review by tech of tomorrow, posted over 1 year ago. He condemned Gigabyte's atrocious QC and ruthless anti-consumer practices. Same story for Ricardo on graphically challenged. Also, youtuber 'PC Centric' made a vlog of a high end pc build using 7950X and GAM-X670E. Guess what?. He could not get his pc to boot (DIMM/RAM issues). Finally, he removed the GAM-X670E and replaced it with an Asus Strix X670E (worked perfectly). I reached out to other pc retailers for advice, including OCUK. I told tech support guy what happened. He was shocked and said 'novatech are taking the p*ss'. They believe my mobo was damaged by novatech whilst it was in their workshop and now novatech criminals are refusing to accept financial responsibility by giving me either a full refund or a brand new replacement mobo. Instead, these criminals stabbed me in the back and falsely accused me of damaging my mobo. I spoke to my bank disputes dept. Specialist said novatech conduct unlawful. I emailed Gigabyte. No reply. Suing novatech criminals for damages (+legal fees). Post social media. Expose novatech unlawful conduct. Since October 2022, I have owned 3 GAM-X670E mobos. All 3 were defective (faulty BIOS, faulty A1/A2 DIMMs). I believe Gigabyte is recirculating RMA'd mobos back into market (which have not been properly tested). No wonder novatech was selling for £500. 01/06/23 - Gigabyte email - yr1 warranty with novatech. Yrs2+3 warranty with Gigabyte. 14/03/25 - Novatech illegal tricks. Ask TP delete my review 03/05/23

It's the 2nd time I've ordered a PC graphic card from Novatech, and both times I've been really impressed with their ordering system, and dispatch. Add DPD delivery which gives you on the hour notification and delivery. Top notch, Amazon could learn from them.
