Total Care worthless - DO NOT GET FOOLED

We lease a large walk-in freezer with Total Care cover. It was installed 11 months ago. So far we have had 3 different problems with it. We are in to our second 2 week complete outage and have been told today that spares are not available and we will be without the freezer for another week. This would be bad enough if it was true. I have been in touch with the supplier of the spares and they are in stock. After all the unit is less than a year old so it would be odd if they didn't! The JLA spares partner that trade as PartsTown have been in touch with the supplier but have not in fact yet placed an order even though they say they did at 09:20 yesterday. Maybe this is a mis-understanding and no-one is telling lies to cover up there mistake but at the end of the day we are still having to rent a freezer trailer while our walk-in is out of action. Further to the tale of woes above, for all 3 callouts, JLA have not managed to get the engineer to site within 8 hours. Though a '24/7' service, there is no phone service after 17:00 (16:35 today!) and you are expected to use a web chat to get hold of them for a callout - currently have been waiting for 30 minutes!

JLA fix the problem in the laundry room in 24 hours, leaving people happy knowing the problem has been solved and the machines are always available for tenants to use on a daily basis.

The service is always very good. Right from when you call there customer service department right through to an engineer coming out to service or repairing the machines or tumble dryers.

Happy with engineer.

The engineer arrived a day after the arranged date. He completed one of the required jobs unfortunately had to order another part. We are still waiting for the arrival. Engineer polite and efficient.
