The treatment I received from Mr Maurino and his staff was excellent. The accommodation, sympathetic care, not to mention the food was perfect in all respects. I was very nervous as I only have one eye and the understanding and empathy was shown at both appointments and was greatly appreciated. I could not have been better looked after either professionally or empathetically.

The world is a dazzling place thanks to the miraculous cataract removal surgery with vision correction I had done under the care of Vincenzo Maurino at Moorfields. Having suffered all my life with poor sight I can scarcely believe I now have superb vision. The pre and post operative care was outstanding and his team are so supportive and flexible with a personal touch. Initially I was very concerned about the anaesthetic aspect of the surgery but it was such a relief to find it passed quickly and easily, with barely any pain afterwards. I would totally recommend this experience.

Excellent team. Professional and friendly from start to end. Mr Maurino and team made me feel comfortable rihht away, but were clear about the potential risks of the surgery. They gave me all the information I needed, but it always felt like my choice... there was never any pressure to proceed. The surgery itself and the day was flawless. I was seen to quickly and Mr Maurino explained what he was doing throughout the entire procedure which I really appreciated and found comforting. It was painless and not uncomfortable at all. It was all done in 20 minutes or so. The aftercare was very thorough but incredibly I was able to walk back to my hotel (wearing sunglasses to protect my eyes from dust). Follow up appointments were not just an afterthought. The whole team are careful to check everything is okay and they asked how I was getting on. All in all, a wonderful consultant and team. When it comes to your eyes, you want the best for surgery. Mr Maurino and team at Moorfields Private were the best for me and I'm extremely glad of my decision. One of the best things I've ever done. Being able to see without aid of glasses or contact lenses is amazing. I'd highly recommend having the surgery here.

I found Mr Maurinho's 2 operations on me , plus a complication , to be handled efficiently and convincingly . There was no excessive hanging about / waiting either in surgery or clinic . The process is however quite slick , a number of patients are being seen almost simultaneously - leaving the impression of a conveyor belt process which is disconcerting . The operation is also expensive - I have made no comparisons - but in terms of time taken per patient seems a lot . Plus the anaesthetists separate billing is irritating .

Mr Maurino was extremely professional and reassuring in all my dealings with him. I had concerns about undergoing the procedure, but these were all dealt with immediately by Mr Maurino or one of the members of his excellent support staff. At every stage I was given as much time and information as I required and as a consequence I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of discomfort i felt during and after the operation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Maurino to anyone that needs to have cataract surgery.
