From start to finish, Mr Maurino’s team provided an excellent experience, carried out in a very short timespan. All staff exude competence, confidence and friendliness. Procedures clearly explained, and skillfully undertaken. Incredible that absolutely no discomfort was experienced either during or after surgery, with only eye drops uses for anaesthesia, enabling rapid recovery and leaving vision hugely enhanced. My only minor suggestion is that appointment letters and Mr Maurino’s excellent information notes could perhaps be printed in a larger font than currently used, bearing in mind that in advance of surgery the vision of patients is restricted

Most amazing experience

As this was my first experience of hospital care, from the admin staff to the surgeon has been positive. The outcome of the eye surgery has enabled me to drive again and improved my vision, thanks to a very skilled surgeon and his team.

I felt I was in the safest hands at every step of the process from initial consultation to the procedure itself and follow up. The outcome is everything that I had hoped and I could not be more pleased.

Mr Maurino carefully explained everything and provided good written information to take away at our first meeting. He was courteous and considerate throughout. Importantly, he listened to one’s concerns and addressed them. The 2 procedures were most efficient. Mr Maurino kept me informed as to what was occurring and I experienced no discomfort at all. It was all over very quickly too. I am delighted that I was able to benefit from Mr Maurinos skill and expertise. I felt the treatment I had from Mr Maurino, his Team and Moorfields Hospital was First Class.

The care I got in hospital was excellent. The staff and Mr Maurino were caring and professional at all times. I would defeniltly recommend him for any eye surgery. The reason I did not give 5 stars was on all 3 occasions I attended the outpatient dept I had really long waiting times to be seen.

Very professional. I have no reservations recommending Mr Maurino and will be returning, should I ever need any treatment on my second eye.
