Awful experience - ruined holiday

Awful experience. Arrived at there car hire depot at 9.30pm ( closes at 11pm ) . 1 person serving customers very slowly. You had to take a number and wait. After over an hour and 3 customers seen ( 14 in front of us ) we decided to take amigo autos up on there offer of paying 18 euros to skip the queue. We completed the paperwork ( we had paid upfront and taken premium insurance so we didn't have to leave the 1,500 euro deposit) . After completing the paperwork we were informed we still had to pay 150 euro deposit via credit card. This had been nowhere in our booking confirmation or paperwork emailed to us. We had already changed our money and come with cash. This left us standing outside there office in an industrial estate at 11pm. We had to get a taxi to our apartment (70 euros). We had planned to explore the local area and had it all mapped out. Instead we are now stuck in our apartment having paid for a car we don't have , blown another 70 euros on a taxi and still have to budget for getting back to the airport. Thank you amigo autos for ruining our holiday

RUN AWAY - They are thieves / FUYEZ - Ce sont des voleurs

J'ai une carte VISA Premier qui me permet de louer des voitures partout dans le monde avec des assurances incluses. Chez AmigoAutos, après vous avoir attiré avec un bon prix sur internet, ils vous disent en agence que votre CB n'est pas valable car il y a marqué dessus DEBIT et non CREDIT !! Puis, ils vous obligent à payer une option supplémentaire qui fait que le prix de la location augmente de 50% sinon vous ne pouvez pas partir avec la voiture. De plus, faite très attention de ne pas salir l'intérieur de la voiture avec du sable sinon c'est 150€ en plus de facturé ! UNE HONTE INTERNATIONALE - UNE MAFIA ORGANISEE

Todo perfecto.

La semana pasada estuvimos en Ibiza , teníamos un coche alquilado con amigos auto y todo ha ido perfecto ,nos recogieron en el aeropuerto y nos entregaron el Coche pactado y muy nuevo...nos retuvieron 150 euros y ya nos lo han devuelto. Creo que es importante también poner las críticas buenas porque casi todas las que se leen aquí son negativas.

Autonoleggio ladro autos

A me per due graffietti invisibili (che tra altro uno era già esistente ma non l’ho segnalato perché veramente ripeto invisibile)mi hanno trattenuto dal deposito cauzionale la bellezza di 360,00 ......Ma io dico capisco se ti riporto l’auto con un paraurti rotto con un segno profondo ma per due graffietti e tra altro ripeto inesistenti mi sembra esagerato.La solita società di noleggio che pensa a fare soldi con questi giochetti....bocciata a pieni voti.....mai più mai più mai più 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Agosto 2019: esperienza di noleggio

Ad agosto 2019 ho noleggiato un auto con loro con la formula della franchigia per 2 settimane. Sono stati molto puntuali nel pickup all aeroporto di Siviglia, chiari nel contratto di noleggio, disponibili nella consegna dell auto anche prima dell orario pattuito e professionali nel controllo alla restituzione. Ho letto recensioni molto negative ma per me, se l auto a noleggio viene trattata bene e viene fatta attenzione nel parcheggiarla, non ci sono problemi.

Three different sets of directions to…

Three different sets of directions to the office to pick up the car were given by three different people.... Eventually we found the minibus to take us to the office ourselves. When we got there we had to take a ticket to wait to pick up our car (the office was packed full of people waiting) - we were number 94 and waited for over 2 hours. This wasted most of the first day of our holiday and saved us about £30 from booking one of the mainstream car hire places - Never ever again!!!!

El pasado día 1 de Agosto realice una reserva para recoger un coche en el aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca, no he recibido el mail de confirmación, y en el extracto bancario el cargo aparece a nombre de una empresa llamada TURBO PALM. Es practicamente imposible contactar telefonicamente con ustedes y esto "huele" a estafa. No se a quien dirigir,e. ¿Me pueden ayudar?

A great service, a great car, nothing to complain about

Having read the appalling reviews on here, I thought I'd offer a bit of balance. We booked a car before arriving at Menorca Airport. The shuttle bus took us very efficiently to the office, where we were attended to immediately, given our keys and went to pick up the car. I checked the exterior, which was perfect, and the interior which had a few marks on the seats so told them in the office. The car was great, we returned it full, had it checked over, which they said was fine, we've had our deposit refund. Would use them again without hesitation. We've booked with local hire companies like these several times in Spain and islands, and heard horror stories at all, but never had any problem with any of them - the rules are always the same - if you want to take the risk with damage, take the risk, check the car thoroughly and hope you don't prang anything. If you don't want the risk, get the extra protection, but get it before you go, it's usually cheaper. We were very happy with Amigo Autos (and Ok Rent A Car, as it appears it's basically the same company.)

Très mauvaise expérience de location…

Très mauvaise expérience de location cet été à Minorque. Réservation effectuée par carentals avec paiement en avance - tout était donc régler mais une fois arrivée sur place : - point de rencontre très mal indiqué pour prendre la navette de l'aéroport pour rejoindre les bureaux - attente de 2h pour avoir une navettes car énormément de monde et trop peu de navettes pour transporter les clients -une fois arrivée devant le bureau, même file d'attente de 1h30 donc au total nous avons attendu 3h30 pour récupérer notre véhicule, je n'ai jamais vu un tel service ! Et cerise sur le gateau, afin de récupérer la voiture, j'ai du payer un supplément de 225€ incluant des assurances et une caution de 150€ qui ne m'a toujours pas été remboursée .... donc au total ma location m'a couté 475€ versus 250€ indiqué ! Je vous déconseille vivement de passer par ce loueur - très mauvaise expérience et surtout frais supplémentaires pour récupérer le véhicule

COMPLETE CON ARTISTS AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Santiago Airport. Received a dirty car, the initially sheet had one small scratch on it. The car had scratches and bumps all over it. Got the operative to agree a new damage sheet which we both signed. When returning the car they claimed damage, that we had already marked on the sheet. They are criminals. I refused to sign their damage sheet but took a picture of it. They charged £340 to my credit card, for what they claim was a scratch. I have received no email or confirmation of what this ridiculously high charge is for. They're crooks, don't go anywhere near them. THEY OPERATE UNDER OK Rent A Car too
