Turnaround time for test results is amazing, however, I am not convinced that the depth of the results are worth the cost. I was hoping for personalized test result interpretations (i.e., adjusted for my age, sex, height, weight, etc.).

I took my original test over a month ago. It went beyond the 2-5 business day timeframe before I got my results, I had no issues when taking the blood sample and my blood results were invalid because the blood sample was haemolyzed. One of the reasons listed for this is "if there was a long delay between sample collection and analysis". I was offered to take a retest and I accepted. It has been 10 business days since my second test has been scanned by the lab, and no matter how many times I have reached out for updates on my results, I have been told I would get an update by the end of the day and nobody has reached out to me. I was told on Friday last week that there would be an update for me by the end of the day, nobody got back to me. I reached out yesterday and was told I would have an update by the end of the day, nobody has reached out to me. It is now Thursday, 14 days since my sample was received (10 business days) and no update. I could have visited a GP and had my results by now.

Sent me a faulty test where the cap would not secure and mix. I've heard from no one. I even wrote a note and placed it inside the box before I shipped the test back.

Let me start with the positive. Once I sent the sample back, the results were out the next day. Getting it to me took much longer than expected, and at no point did I think the blood collection would be so stressful. The required amount of blood exceeded my expectations and my capacity to draw it by the sheer nature of gravity, and I wasn’t prepared for this. I spent 30-40 minutes following instructions and doing multiple punctures on multiple fingers. Had I known I would have gone with a saliva type of test or a local lab.

Fast easy results. fast shipping etc I just wish it wasn't so expensive a lot of these tests your own physician can order but sometimes they refuse to check your labs or do certain tests. At least this allows patients to look into things on their own yes sometimes doctors miss things!
