Left stranded on 28.06 at 4.30pm

Left stranded on 28.06 at 4.30pm. Booked the day before as had a train to catch. Twice they lied that driver was setting out/nearby, after that stopped answering our calls. At 5.15 we started hitch hiking. Thanks to a kind young man we only missed one train. Worst ever cab service.

Brilliant Service - thank you

The first time I’ve used this firm. I was a little nervous reading the mixed reviews, but that disappeared as they were brilliant! I booked over the phone (cash payment option), the agent also offered me the option to book on their app if I wanted to pay by card. Received a text message on the morning of the booking to let me know the taxi was on it’s way. Driver arrived in plenty of time , the taxi itself was clean inside and out, and the driver was professional & friendly. Arrived at my destination early - super happy. Thank you to Wasim driver 172 👍🏽

Rude & Dishonest: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!.

I booked a taxi 2 hours in advance yesterday via the 247 app and was told booking confirmed. When it was 10 minutes past the time due I called the office and was told another 5-10mins. I waited for 15 mins and called back only to be told a driver hadn’t yet been assigned. I called back in another 20 mins to be told a driver in my area was coming off a job in 1 min and would arrive shortly. I then rang 15mins later to be hung up on by a female operator. Then rang straight back to be told another driver had been assigned and would be no more than 5 mins. 25 mins later and after 2 more calls to the office, a car finally arrived over an hour late. This was after giving 2 hours notice and having our booking confirmed. This is the worst service I’ve ever had from 247 Taxis & Coaches East Sussex or any minicab company in my life. There’s simply no excuse for being lied to or for being this poor at customer service.

Driver not allocated until after booked time

I've booked cabs twice now the day before I've needed them using the app. Each time the driver wasn't allocated until AFTER the booking time and so arrived 20 minutes later than it was requested. This very much defeats the idea of booking a cab well ahead for a specific time! The first time I tried to call the office to find out when my cab was likely to arrive, but I could only get an automated message informing me my driver hadn't been allocated yet. I would use the firm again because the app is convenient and easy to use. However, as a warning to others, I would make sure I allow plenty of extra time if I need to be somewhere for a specific time.

Such a let down

I booked a cab to take us to a restaurant for Father’s Day.. the cab was confirmed … I booked 3 hours before. Ten minutes before the cab was due I called as the app said no car had been assigned… I told them when they eventually answered that we had a table booked and needed to be at the restaurant.. I was told after holding to speak to someone for 5 minutes that the cab would be there. Ten minutes after the cab was due my husband called and was told there is a 15 minute window.. I was not told this before.. we waited another 10 minutes and gave up and took our car.. they are a complete joke..! Why not say if you can’t deliver a cab and at least give people a chance to arrange another way. We sat at the restaurant for 15 minutes when I got a text to say your car has arrived…!. I cannot believe you can run a cab company like this. I’ll be using another company from now on..!

What a joke of a company, Dont didnt turn up and didnt answer phone....you need to steer clear if you book. They do confirm but just dont turn up...This cost me £151 for alternative...

No show taxi ruined wedding day.

I ordered a black taxi to take myself & three family members to a wedding in central London on Wednesday 15th June. When it didn’t turn up I phoned & was told the driver was involved in a fatal car crash earlier in the day & that they had emailed me two hours before pick up to inform me. No replacements were available. I checked they had the right email address & both my inbox & spam but no email had been received. They also had my phone number so no excuse for not contacting me. Whether this excuse was true or not is irrelevant. The customer service was awful on such an important day for us. Won’t be using these people ever again.

You guys are really horrible . I have been calling for how many minutes no one to even pick a call. Your services or whatever yoh upgraded to are very terrible. Same thing two days ago How do I book a cab from last night and still go last to work? And then I am calling to keep tabs and no is picking

Booked a taxi for 11.25

Booked a taxi for 11.25. At 11.30 I checked the app to see if it was on its way, hadn’t been dispatched. Phoned to ask how long it would be, got through to an automated message saying I had a taxi booked for 5.25pm (I have email confirmations of the time I booked it for) then I was cut off before I could speak to anyone. Taxi didn’t turn up, had to get a lift in the end and be late for work. Then I got an email at 11.50 saying thanks for travelling with 247. Ha! Yeah ok!

Joke of a company rude arrogant staff that can’t even get you a car on time honestly a joke would avoid at all costs!!
