I will never use this company again
I’ve always used 247 in Hastings, but will NEVER do so again. The last couple of taxis I booked were unreliable time-wise, but the very last one was 45 minutes late. There were no calls from the company to let me know and no apology. The driver told me he had been free some time before but they never sent the business to him until a couple of minutes before he eventually picked me up - it wasn’t his fault. Apparently it’s to do with some new software they are using…and it shows in the service they offer. Consequently, I missed my train and the connection in London, which caused a whole load of hassle and a penalty fee to change my train ticket. This is no way to run a taxi firm. I would also rate it zero stars if I could, like someone who has rated them before me. I am now using other firms who, so far, have been so much more reliable.

If I could give zero stars I would. Booked a taxi in advance to get to a show my daughter was performing in. 5 mins late I called for an automated voice to tell me they couldn't find a driver and couldn't even estimate how long it would be. Why accept pre bookings if you aren't going to honor them. New carmiles to the rescue. Will never use 247 again.
Useless
Useless. I made an advance booking to be at an appointment on time. Booking accepted. Car is late. I call but reach an automated service detailing that they are trying to find a driver and will get to me when they can. Roll up, roll up, for a lucky dip! Jokers!
Booked return trip to Birmingham…
Booked return trip to Birmingham airport as was basically same price as using airport car park plus fuel. Driver spot on with times collecting and return pick up at 3.30. Excellent service and value. Will definitely used again..many thanks
Don’t accept bookings if you don’t have drivers
We booked a taxi well in advance for a 8.40 pick up, knowing we had a 15 minute window. After a number of calls we were finally picked up from the train station 50 minutes later, cold and damp. This happened previously and we stopped using the company for over a year but were advised it had improved. Clearly this is not the case now. It is not the fault of the drivers they respond to the allocated pick ups. 247 really need to look at the level of service they are offering and if they don’t have the drivers, be honest and advise us whereby we could book with an alternative company

Very disappointed with this company
Very disappointed with this company. We booked a cab last night for 2pm today. Nothing arrived. We called only for robotic voice to claim they were trying to find a cab to fulfil the booking. They were fully aware of our contact details as they recognised number when we called to see where cab was but they didn't bother to let us know no one was available to fulfil arrangement. We had to drive ourselves which was the whole point of the booking. Useless company. Great computer system but rubbish at doing what they are in business to do. Avoid if you really need to be somewhere.
Such a disappointing experience
Booked a taxi on the train on the way home from Gatwick - he was waiting for us when the train arrived, however, he opened the boot & went to sit in the car, barely acknowledged us & didn't even offer to help with the suitcase. Stopped outside the house & didn't even get out of the car to open the boot. Very unfriendly. Needless to say, no tip was left...
Poor Booking Experience
We used to use 247 all the time. The drivers are always polite and friendly but recently the automated booking system has made it such a pain to book that we’ve started using another firm. Such a shame.
