Fantastic detail and soundstage without being too analytical. In past I had B&W 603s2 and 607s2(still have it) and I can tell in my short time with these there is no contest here at all, arendals are just so good but keep in mind with the monitors a sub or two is must. The reason I went with the monitors is due to space in my apartment, these are perfect for medium/small spaces. I kept on Auto mode instead of playing it in pure direct mode (sounded muddy with no detail) on my Marantz cinema 60 for 2 channel listening. Don’t rush and jump to conclusion that they sound bad before you properly set your system and recommend 50 hours of burn in. I should warn who are of a thought that they can contain themselves with one pair of Arendal speaker😁 which is not going to happen. It’s like an addiction, I got a pair thinking these should do for me and I already have placed the order for Center as well and I’m sure I’ll make 5.1.2 around arendal speakers soon or later these are that good. Already eying 1723 S 🤣🤘🏻.
