If you are planning to switch energy…

If you are planning to switch energy supplier be very wary of deals offered online by Rebel Energy. My previous suppliers were British Gas and EDF Energy. My estimated annual spend supplied by these Companies was £2751. Having supplied this info to the Rebel Energy website, I was informed that by switching I would save annually £341. I made the switch and waited confirmation of the switch. When this confirmation arrived approx. 14 days later it contained a pre account plan detailing costs and consumption details. Then I noticed the Direct Debit figure they were planning to set up. £241 per month which would suggest an annual cost of £2892 !! And so instead of a saving of £341, it was actually going to cost me an extra £141. I then phoned the Rebel customer service desk, After speaking to an advisor for 6 or 7 minutes the line suddenly went dead. I then phoned back again but as soon as an advisor picked up the call, the line was cut again. I then phoned back a third time and a lady answered. In case I was cut off again I thought it prudent to ask the advisors name. As soon as I asked for her name she put the phone down on me! Having cancelled the contract and moved elsewhere I have heard nothing further from this Company. Tread carefully if you are considering a switch to Rebel Energy. Perhaps I should have paid heed to a Company using the name Rebel.

Initial contact with Rebel

I spoke with Parnian today about changing from my current supplier to Rebel. If all goes to plan this will save me around £27 per month. I cant comment yet about service etc but was very impressed with Parnian and her customer service. Watch this space.

"Rebel Energy"

Today I called "Rebel Energy". My Energy supplier for Gas and Electric. I spoke to DE-JUAN. I was so concerned about my meter readings and what it was costing me. But De-Juan helped ease my concern explaining as to how the Smart Meter works. What an asset this gentleman is to Rebel Energy. Also whenever I call Rebel energy, all your operators are very knowledgeable and helpful.Thank You. Peter.

I’ve been trying to get on the App for the past 3 months with no joy. I have been told they are having problems and their IT department is working on it. I cannot see what my usage is and can only pay my bill when I get a demand through the post . Bryon Wright
