I've debating posting a review anywhere but after talking to friends and other hair stylists/ hair extensionists,I feel like the issues I've had should be spoken about. I had been using beauty works hair on myself for around 3 years having used Tape in hair before swapping to a weft last year. At first I loved the weft - albeit the one I chose was slightly bulky at the top and had a lot of return hair. Within a few weeks I had noticed some shedding from the weft - I originally thought nothing of it as all hair sheds and of course blonde hair has been through more of a process than dark or red. Baring in mind I am a professional and I do use professional only, sulphate free products and have done my whole career. By month 3 and 4 the shedding was UNBELIEVABLE - I couldn't run my hands through the weft without it either bunching up or shedding loads of hair every brush. I contacted BWs and was given different options - one of which included taking the weft out (at my own expense) and sending it to them for testing. I was hesitant on this for two reasons - 1 - Was it a conflict of interest in getting their own testing team to test their own product - which no doubt they would find no fault in by using their own testing team. 2 - I didn't want to be without my hair extensions. I take pride in how I look and having my hair done is part of my brand. The two members of the BWs team I spoke to were lovely and helpful, but on reflection I have found this to be not as helpful and forthright as I hoped, with the phonecalls I received did feel condescending - "Well we do have this £6 product" when I had already said several times I use professional hair products at home and in the salon. I was passed onto someone else and had another phone call (and several emails) which resulted in a replacement weft in a "goodwill gesture without an admission of fault" on their behalf as they would need to test the old weft. I did take the replacement weft and on the invoice ironically it had the words "REPLACEMENT - FAULTY" on the memo of the invoice. I had the replacement weft installed by my hairdresser in March - whilst this was definitely of better quality than the one purchased in August 2023 (installed September 2023) - again it started to shed and break within a couple of months. By August 2024 - so five months after getting the new weft it had shed dramatically again and I was back to feeling hopeless with my hair (not a good feeling when your job is to make people feel good about their hair and your hair isn't doing that for you) I have since then had more shedding and significant breakage and split ends from the second weft - just like the first weft I got in contact with in the first place. It has left me no choice but to replace the hair with another brand and I will no longer be buying or endorsing any beauty works products which is a shame because I did enjoy using their tapes. I cannot understand how the quality of the hair can be so different when I used both Silver and Ivory tapes and then went for an Ivory weft. All in all I am very disappointed in Beauty Works for calling themselves a luxury hair brand when their hair can't even last 6 months let alone any longer than that.

Bought the new Maja Jama clip in fringe , it’s more of a topper than a fringe which is exactly what I needed. Having always worn extensions I couldn’t cover the crown area as my hair was so thin from effects of surgery and menopause. This is so natural and I feel truly beautiful. Ordered the shade from watching BW instagram posts for reference and it arrived perfectly presented the next day. Will be purchasing another soon, thanks BW 🩷
