I would not recommend this Solicitor for a house move! I had to chase constantly and remind them I was the customer and paying for a service! Moving home is extremely stressful so having the added pressure of the Solicitor not doing tasks and not communicating or processing instructions made the process far worse. Made me feel like they were paying me and not other way round. Sat on paperwork and nearly lost me a buyer for my home, due to not completing things that were relatively easy as I'd done all the paperwork needed. Only used their service as agents recommended them as a shared ownership Solicitor thought it would be straight forward but think they take on too many cases that they don't dedicate their time. I ended up doing a lot of the chasing of mortgage company and paperwork so I was able to complete and exchange on the day I'd committed to. Not happy!!

Direction Law provided us with information and advice at the beginning of our mortgage application with them, however, the communication lessened as the process continued - at times we had to contact them first to confirm whether or not documents had been received. For this reason, we believe they need to improve their quality of customer service and their internal processes.

Quite happy with the service. If it's your first time, it might be a bit overwhelming, but you can just call them and ask your questions, they'll sort everything out for you. They also act smartly for your causes, specially when there are rule changes by government.
