Shared Ownership Purchase

Reasonably priced and thorough service for a shared ownership purchase. Prompt response to queries and all actions completed on time, or early! An electronic portal enabled easy transfer of documents for a remote transaction, and I was kept updated at all times. Would defo recommend!

Stressful

We have just moved into our new house, we originally chose direction law as they seemed very good at communication and the quote we were given was very reasonable. However we were wrong… we have gone through 4 people all together which were all rubbish at communicating and did not know what the other people had done on their end. Had to chase chase and chase to get any information at all. We then got a bill which was more then double our original quote and the tax on everything had been put through twice. As first time buyers this was a very stressful process as it is with-ought having to check through everything and working out how much we actually should be paying. Absolutely avoid

Bad communication, very disorganized

First, the communication with this company is extremely difficult. The solicitors don't reply to the phone because if they answer the phone, they can't do their work (they said). I had some extremely urgent questions about my case to discuss with the solicitor and I couldn't speak with him and then her at all. Only email and I haven't received answers to most of them. Every time there is a new issue and always waiting for something. The mortgage advisor and I received the mortgage offer by post on the same day. They said they have never received it. So, we asked to the lender to send again the documentation, loosing days in the completion of the case. The receptionists are very rude at the phone. They reviewed the documents multiple times and every time there was something missing or wrong.
