Good value, but...
The main reason for leaving 3 stars is the good price of the items we purchased and that Tracey was very helpful in getting back to us. However, that is not the case for all staff and emails often do not seem to get answered. Beware of calling as their number is premium rate as I discovered to my cost. It was also 15 days before we received the items. The impression you get when you look on the website is that it will be about 3 days. The least they could do is inform people if there will be a delay. Eventually we were given a date for delivery, but the items then arrived a day late. Boxes were damaged but the items seem to be okay. They also seem to trade as CHS.
The price of low prices?
Prices great, and we have ordered from them before, but this time something went wrong. The first two members of staff I spoke to were both very helpful and did what they undertook to do straight away, including a refund for another unavailable item. The representative of the Returns Department was a bit offhand at first (clearly a greater workload) but responded to the problem (a bashed expansion vessel) and ordered another one from the supplier, HRP, to be sent direct. This one was bashed even more. As he said, this confirmed to him that the damage had been caused in the supplier's warehouse, but we were still held up and our customer without heat. Third time lucky the final one was intact, but none of the three was supplied with the necessary 3/8 high temperature washer, we had to get that ourselves. Perhaps Covid played a part, not sure, but whatever the accident, goods need to be examined before leaving the warehouse (whichever warehouse it was). Packing also left something to be desired though it was clear in this case the damage had not occurred in transit as the outer box was intact. All fine now but many of our customers would have been less patient. A "no frills" kind of merchant?

I ordered a Worcester programmer, but noticed I hadn’t had a confirmation order or notification from PayPal, so I contacted the company via email to ask if they’d received it. Andy got back to me within 30mins and advised me that the order hadn’t been completed and if I completed the order by 11.00am it would be dispatched the same day, so I did. The programmer was delivered to my door this morning less than 24hours after placing my order. Excellent customer service. Excellent delivery Excellent prices. Will definitely use again 100%
Great customer experience
I ordered a set of Bristan shower bath taps at a price which was a lot cheaper than elsewhere. They arrived quickly and well packaged and in perfect condition. I did have to contact customer service with a query. They were easy to contact and very helpful. I would definitely use Plumbarena again.
Do Not Purchase from this Company
On the 5th Oct 2020. I did a transactional purchase and on the 7th Oct the money was taken from my bank. After two weeks no delivery or receipt of goods. Since then I have written emails, tried to contact by phone. No response or acknowledgement to my requests.
Listed numbers unobtainable?
Their website provides 2 phone numbers and encourages you to call for advice. Tried both numbers, from two different phones, both were unobtainable, hence my search here?

No customer service
I ordered a hot water tank from them as the price was competitive and delivery was quick. All went well until I unboxed the tank and noticed a dent down one side. I immediately informed them of the damage by email (same day as the delivery) but had no response. Over a 2 week period I sent a further 5 emails, tried phoning 3 times (only to get the answer machine) and left a message. I got absolutely no acknowledgement or reply from them. Then randomly with no notification they arranged for the tank to be collected but no replacement. I eventually sent an email giving them a day to rectify before I contacted my credit card company, this time they managed to respond within 2 hours. The tank was replaced 2 days later. If everything had gone smoothly I would have given a better review and probably recommended them to others, however their lack of customer service when it went wrong has led me to thus review.
