Initially frustrating, but great in the end.
The representatives, Kyla and Lyn, were perfectly nice and professional, but it’s increasingly apparent that FirstKey Homes just uses this customer service line as an obstacle to prevent being held accountable by their tenants. Given this appears to be a review for FirstKey Homes in general, I really have no reason to rate higher than 1 star because I’m 95% sure that no problems will be solved from this interaction. This company has been awful to work with so far due to poor communication. Update: While our complaint about the call center system remains, we did receive calls shortly after this review (and an email) from staff that were able to help us. After those calls our issues were resolved promptly and professionally. We’re very grateful for the help and very happy with the service that was provided. It’s a shame that the great folks that helped us were so poorly represented by the company’s maintenance hotline system. Not being able to communicate directly with the people that can actually help you is very frustrating. FirstKey Homes should really rethink this system. Thank you so much Hunter, Mariella, Roberto, and Brandon! We’re very happy and satisfied with how things turned out.
Above and beyond
We were experiencing difficulties with reception and issues with the system. Keith was very patient and even called us back after operating hours to ensure that our payment had gone thru to get us out of our situation. He went above and beyond for us and am highly impressed with his professionalism and how was able to handle our delicate situation.
