Zero communication since visit
I am still awaiting a call back to see if my claim in late April for repairs to wind-damaged roof cladding will be accepted. The assessor came round promptly (within the week) and then there has been absolutely nothing, despite chasing. Wind and rain since then is making me deeply concerned the damage will get more extensive as time goes by and I can’t get a builder to repair the roof if I do not know the outcome of the claim. This is negligence.

Ref:HRNL094744 I have been liaising with Gemma Ford on behalf of my father who suffered upsetting damage to his home after a significant storm in November 2023. Her communication, reassurance and professionalism have been excellent at every stage of the process. Despite frustrating delays in being able to get quotes due to the huge workload of builders in the area, she has maintained regular contact and reassured me that we would get the issues sorted. Too often these days one is passed from pillar to post, trying desperately to speak to the same person twice. Having Gemma as our sole contact made a challenging situation as good as it could possibly be. Many many thanks Gemma - your high standards have been greatly appreciated.

Cant fault this company especially John Arundale who was nothing short of excellent. The Glass company they used from Swansea, in particular Chris were spot on. Together they sorted our our problem swiftly with courtesy and understanding - top marks all round.
Shocker
Assessor came out to look at the storm damage on my shared roof, 17 residents share the roof. Assesor used a drone to examine the roof and then came to the conclusion the storm damage was wear and tear. HRNL tried to tell me the temp repair patches on the roof had been done over a period of time despite me showing them the two temp repair invoices that I have paid to a roofing company who did the temp repairs to prevent any further damage. HRNL also say the roof was fitted incorrectly and that 1 part of the flashing that was rustly had caused the entire roof to fail. An arial view from Google maps shows a roof with no patches on it 1 month before we had the storm. After being informed of my claim being refused by a very snooty person from HRNL I contacted my inurance company and forwarded comfimation of two other owners in the building whos claim had been paid out in full and been classed as storm damage 100%. Eventually got paid out with compensation by Direct Line, would suggest everyone avoids this company.
