Ladies Omega watch service and refurbishment

I recently had my wife’s Omega watch serviced and refurbished by Luxury Watch Repairs. The watch had been running slowly despite having a new battery installed. I must admit that I was hesitant in sending the watch in as there were mixed reviews online and although the work took a bit longer than expected, the results were well worth the wait. The refurbishment has highly improved the look of the watch, which had multiple wear and tear scratches. The watch is running to time and is now backed by a 3 year guarantee. I highly recommend Luxury Watch Repairs for their excellent work and dedication to quality. One thing that I would point out is the timescale. The end to end process took 8 weeks. Be prepared to wait and trust the process (!), noting that if your watch goes directly to Omega for repairs / service, it will take considerably longer than 8 weeks to get your watch back.

After a false start with the stop watch…

After a false start with the stop watch facility, I am very pleased with the way in which the problem has been handled and much appreciate the careful attention that I have received.

Awful company

Cannot get answers from them about the repair of my watch. Sent off around June/July last year. Spent last summer chasing for an update and finally got hold of someone in September who said it’s still undergoing inspection. We’re now in March and I’ve not had any further updates. Do not waste your time with this company. It’s impossible to get hold of anyone that can provide you with an update. Update: I am now told it will take a couple of days before they are able to update me on where my watch is and with an estimate

Very good service

Sending the watch, being kept informed and return were very well organized. Calls were returned promptly and the representative was helpful and well informed. On finding a small fault on return of the watch LWR immediately arranged to send another postal package and correct the problem. Very good service.

Fantastic service - LWR is 100% recommended

I sent my Cartier to LWR for repair. The entire process has been smooth from first contact, an envelope was sent, my watch was photographed when received, and I have been kept appraised throughout the process. I am delighted to be wearing my lovely watch again, shiny as new and working perfectly after languishing in a drawer for years. My family and I have other watches now which we will entrust to LWR. Thank you Oliver and your team!

Don’t touch these guys

UPDATE 22nd April 2024 I finally received my watch back and a refund on my fees. UPDATE 10th March 2024: Having failed to respond for months to emails, after leaving this review they were straight in touch and said my watch would be back ‘this week’, no surprise but that didn’t happen, then they said it would be back last week and now they have responded to this review below to say it’ll be back this week. They tried to have this review taken down through TP which failed as my review is factually correct….. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Don’t touch these guys, they stole my watch and money….. My father didn’t have much but he left me a watch when he passed. This company has stolen it and won’t respond to my contact. I sent my Brietling to them in July last year, 8 months ago, for a battery change. Initially there was some sporadic contact from them, each time with a new quote for more ‘essential’ work. I paid all of the invoices, battery change, new seals etc and then silence for weeks. They won’t answer the phone and have stopped replying to emails as well. The last contact I had from them was on 4th October saying that my watch would be back in 2 weeks. Since then, they have ignored my requests by email, I have emailed everyone I can find without a single reply. Again, no one answers the phone. It’s now late March and they have basically stolen my watch and ripped me off for hundreds of pounds. The only option left to me is legal action to try and prompt a response and maybe even get my late father’s watch back.
