Dry dead tree delivered
Ordered a cherry tree but the plant that arrived was very dry the root ball devoid of any soil. I think it may be dead. I planted the tree but am not hopeful the plant will survive. Very disappointed.
Click and collect order
Click and collect order. Payment taken on day 1 of order. 10 days later items ordered still not available but no contact from Longacre staff with update. Cancelled order bur refund still not received.
Supply chain problems
I ordered an arbour from Longacres. The order was accepted and paid for and a delivery date booked. But a couple of days later I received an email telling me that the item was out of stock. They apologised and I was asked to wait a couple of days while they checked with the supplier. A few days later a further email asked me to wait until the end of the month when new stocks might come in to the store. This is the current situation - I am still waiting. Longacres have communicated frequently with me and kept me up to date - no complaints on this score - but I find it odd that they accepted an order - and took the money - for an order that they couldn't fulfill. Their online ordering and stock control doesn't, in my case, seem to link together.
