Really bad experience here. Cancelled my contract 3 weeks early (after mis reading the contract end dates), after being a customer for 2 years. I assumed that this would be no issue after contacting their help team. Flogas gas have applied €100s in charges to my account.

Avoid at all costs
I decided to switch to Flogas because I thought I was going to get a better deal, but what a mistake that was. I submitted my application, got an email confirming everything was processed, and was told I'd receive my welcome letter soon. But then, out of nowhere, I get bills from my previous provider at the full rate, because apparently, I wasn't in contract with anyone. So I call Flogas customer service, and they tell me there’s no account under my name, then transferred me to sales. The sales agent finally admitted that my application was never processed, but he couldn’t even offer me a reason why. I’ve wasted hours of my life—5 or 6 hours across multiple calls—just trying to get some answers. Every time I spoke to customer service, they bounced me to sales, who would just send me back to customer service. No one seemed to have a clue, and no one could fix anything. Now, I get a bill that doesn't reflect my discount at all, and when I call about it, they tell me it’s an "estimated bill." Are you kidding me? I only signed up 2 months ago, and now they’re telling me I need to call every two months just to get an accurate bill, otherwise, I’ll keep getting estimated charges. This is beyond frustrating. I can't wait until my renewal date to leave Flogas behind for good. This entire experience has been a nightmare.
One of the worse customer service interactions I have ever had
I tried to switch to flogas, as I thought I was going to get a better deal. After I submitted my application, I received email communication that it has gone through and that I will shortly receive my welcome letter. However, I never received that letter and to my surprise a month later I got a letter from my previous provider saying that my electricity supply will be cut off shortly as the property had not been registered to any provider. I then called flogas customer service who said that there was no account in my name and then transferred me to the sales department. The agent clarified that the application was never actually processed but he couldn't give me an explanation as to why that was and why no one had reached out to inform me about this. He then proceeded to ask for my current meter readings so that he can process the application. I then refused to provide any further details until I could get a clear explanation as to why my initial application hadn't been processed. He then proceeded to say that he would end the call if I didn't follow his directions. Very rude and arrogant. Trying to get the meter readings without even addressing the reason behind their mistake and on top of it all threatening me that he will end the call. Such an unpleasant and frustrating experience. They were not considerate about the fact that my supply would have been cut off due to their mistake. I want nothing to do with this company and I have proceeded with a different provider. Better deals doesn't always mean that they are trustworthy. I had to learn this the hard way. Never dealing with them again.
