I Dealt with a chap Luke he was efficient and his product knowledge was exceptional. Luke went through my order, as the website confused me and I was unsure of what I was ordering with my stretcher bars to assemble my frame to put my canvas on. He walked me through the entire order, that would have Ordinarily have taken years of my life on the website. Simple and easy! Good prices, dreadful service
Good prices, but abysmal service. The order took 3 weeks to arrive. It only arrived at all after I called to enquire - they said 'the courier had lost it'*, but since they don't send tracking information there's no way for the customer to tell and they don't check. One of the paints was out of stock, and they just took it out of the order without communication - so it's 3 weeks later and I still don't have my paint. * from the number of reviews mentioning this line, one has to wonder if perhaps it is a euphemism for 'we completely forgot', and if not why they keep employing that delivery company. EDIT, in reply to the reply: > we make every effort to ensure we use reliable couriers very rarely this happens. Count the reviews below mentioning the order got lost, instead of delivering platitudes. > I know the customer service team offered to ship this from the store for you, where the item was in stock and this would have been with you the next day. No one mentioned next day. Your terms say 5 to 8 working days, mine took 3 weeks. You're making this up as you go along. > We do supply tracking via an email sent to you, sometimes this can go in the spam/trash folders so please be sure to check these. No, you don't. There was no tracking number, because there was no notice of despatch, in spam or otherwise. > I apologise for any inconvenience caused and I hope you continue to shop with us in future despite the issues you have had. My email to you clearly said that I did not want you to send me the missing paint because I don't want to do any business with you anymore.
Very disappointed...
I love the GreatArt shop as they have a huge variety of stock. Visited on 24.08.20 and bought £130 odd of items, lots of great bargains in the clearance department or so I thought. I purchased 4 x 250ml Sennelier inks at £17.25, 50% off - great! Checked online and other stores were selling the same at £14.99 not reduced so presumably new stock. Got in touch with GreatArt, lots of emails but only offered to price match or I could return them. No clarification as to whether the inks were old stock despite my asking twice. Did not offer online voucher despite my request as I am not local. I don't mind paying a little extra for the joy of a 'real shop' but I don't want to have to check prices online as I browse. I felt misled and did let them know so not very happy with response.
I am ticked off at this point - very disappointing
1 star I am ticked off at this point. I ordered my Marabu Paints mid-June (15/06/2020). And I need to finish a commission piece (like yesterday). First off, I had to enquire as to how to track my item, to which I was given a link to DPDs website. Since the 19th of June it says, "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel". So last week I get in touch with Great Art again, and they tell me that they will talk to DPD and get back in touch with me ASAP. I have tried to get back in touch with them via email and telephone, well the emails have not been responded to and the phone call goes to voice mail. I have been left in the dark with no answer and having made a purchase of over £100 I am very disappointed. I seriously want to talk to a representative and get some answers. Who knows when/if that will happen! Update 1 Star Here is the email i have now received "Unfortunately the courier has lost your order. We have launched an investigation with the courier company to see why this has happened. I can either refund you for the order or send you a replacement. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. I apologise for any inconvenience caused." First off, you should be tracking your own products too. I have been looking at all of these reviews, there is a pattern developing here. I am very disappointed. 3 stars I have managed to get through to customer services. And we have come to a mutual agreement. Therefore I have changed my rating.
Excellent service
After reading the reviews I was worried my orders wouldn’t arrive on time for a commission I contacted customer services and one of my orders had already been dispatched and the other I paid extra for express. The express delivery arrived a day later and the order already dispatched arrived a day after the express parcel. I don’t know why I was worried, my commission is now close to completion and will be shopping here again

Absolutely love the products that GreatArt has to offer! After looking at the reviews on TrustPilot i was a litte worried about my order however i had already checked all delivery information on the website before placing my order and it arrived in perfect condition in the time frame stated. Customer Service were super friendly and helpful when i asked them for a tracking link and some advice on the products i had purchased. My overall experience was great and will be back again soon to get some more goodies!

UPDATE! Despite the reply promising action, and assuring me they take reviews like mine very seriously, I never heard a word from this company So not only do they offer atrocious service and treat customers poorly, they believe a trite reply full of platitudes will con other prospective customers into seeing bad reviews as one offs. Don't be fooled. There are lots of great online art shops out there. This isn't one of them. Find someone else or you'll probably regret it. This has been such a bad experience. I ordered Golden Open acrylic paints and a canvas. Easy enough really. Not for these guys. They don't bother with communication. They don't bother with speed. They don't bother with manners...I chased up my order and in return got a snipey email full of cut and pasted statements from their website. It basically told me to wait my turn. Hmmm. I called them and spoke to one of the rudest women I've ever spoken to (Great Art, you record the phone calls - have a laugh and listen - it's great). She told me my package was being delivered. I think she sent it then to be honest. But she only sent half. I emailed. I was ignored. I emailed again. No response at all. I called and left a message. Ignored. Rude, rude, rude. You just sell art products, that's all. It shouldn't preclude being decent to people and respecting your customers. Just an awful firm to deal with. Be warned.
Nightmare service!
June 19 Read before using GreatArt! Items took 11 days to arrive. No update provided so left in the dark. They are not transparent their warehouse is in Germany so it's always going to be slow service. Order missing item and wrong paper. Instead of Canson EXTRA White Paper I got cream (you are an art shop, surely you know the difference). After several calls, I was told they were investigating error and waiting to hear from Germany but Germany not replying. This is your problem! Take ownership, no more excuses. If you mess up, correct it immediately, don't make me write your emails to send to Germany, don't make me call repeatedly because you forgot about me, don't stall while you sort out internal problems, stop the excuses, stop patronising me. If you ever manage to sort it out, it will have taken over 3 wks, probably more to get my items. A sure way to lose customers! July 3rd, 2020 Cream paper return delayed because someone forgot to action - another call to rectify- still no refund - rang twice each time told will be refunded in 2 days. Its been 5 days since you received the paper!!!! Only took a few hrs to take payment. **July 21 - still no update about EXTRA white paper nor reply email Charlie???
