This company is selling trash to customers out there. Don't bother buying anything from Discount Computer Depot even prices appear to be affordable. Zero quality control and extremely poor customer service.

Don't trust this Company

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time and energy. I bought a computer through Walmart.com in Oct of 2019 for a work at home position I was waiting on. I didn't hook everything up until a couple of months later (totally my issue). When I finally got the remote job I couldn't start because DDC didn't send the computer that I ordered and the specifications were too low for the remote job I found. Unknown to me they sent. I contacted them and they told me since it was no longer in warranty I would have to pay for shipping to have it replaced. We went back and forth with Jesien this for a while and I finally sent it back at my expense. when I received the replacement modem it was defective. It would switch on and off when it was powered on and then it would finally "catch" and stay on but then the fan would continuously run non-stop. I contacted Discount Computer and spoke with a rep who told me to send the entire computer back and they would issue a refund. I did that but there was no refund. I called again and spoke with Jesien again and he said that he needed to check to see if the computer had been received in their warehouse and he verified that it had been and that I should receive a refund in a few days. While the few days have come and gone and still no refund. I have called multiple times but the phone continuously rings and then finally I'm placed in cue but on one ever answers so a recording comes on to say leave a message and they will call me back. Well that never happened either. I trusted this site because it partnered with Walmart.com but I can tell you that this is not the company you want to put any money or trust in. I'm just floored by the total lack of regard for quality service and fraudulent tactics it uses to get your hard earned money. I just want my money back! I will be filing a compliant with BBB in addition to this review.

Long term buyer of Discount Computer…

Long term buyer of Discount Computer with satisfactory history of returns and operation until now. Accepted upgrade Laptop when DC could not fill order but it did not work upon receipt. AFTER MANY EMAILS AND PHONE CONVERSATION RETURN LABEL WAS TO BE PROVIDED, NEVER RECEIVED. tHEY HAVE IGNORED REPEATED INQUIRIES. forced to put stop payment on credit card. They can't be trusted anymore.

Move on, don't buy from Discount-Computer.com

Ordered a computer. It was shipped and received in a timely manor. When it arrived the monitor stand was cracked and so it stood a little bit crooked, I was able to look past that. Connected everything and turned it on. It didn't work. The computer booted up but nothing showed on the monitors. Called for support. No one answered. It puts you into a queue that says you are xxx in line. Your number decreases. Then after a while it tells you that they are too busy and to leave a message. I left a couple messages. They never called back after a week. Over the course of a week this same system played out. I did follow the instructions in the little trouble shooting manual they give you to re-seat the ram. This did not change anything. After not being able to get any response I found the instructions to return the computer. Fortunately they provided a paid shipping label. I don't know if I will get my money back, I trust that I will. I don't want to wait to post my experience because I am moving on. I would recommend you do the same before purchasing from Discount-Computer.com. Find a local repair person off of google maps. They will probably have a better system at a better price and probably provide a warranty, and you get to talk with someone that actually cares if something was wrong with the computer they upgraded and sold you. Move on. Don't buy a computer from discount-computer.com. I am sure they sell lots of computers that work. Mine didn't, and they didn't care enough to get back to me to fix the problem. Their loss.

I bought a computer from you all less than two months ago power button quit working I've tried calling and calling when you all do answer I get hung up on I think that's a horrible way to do business I will not recommend you all to anyone because of the treatment I'm getting I bought this computer for my grandson to do school I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford to buy another one you need to close your business because you don't know how to run your business when you put a warranty on something you need to abide by it last time doing business with you all

My first experience with Discount…

My first experience with Discount Computer Depot was awful, I wasn't told the date that my order was gonna arrive and the email that is promised online and when talking to a live person never came in, it arrived 2-3 weeks later. Then they sent the computer without any of the wires or the mouse and the to monitors that were sent initially were in really bad shape. So after many calls and email I finally was so upset a refund wasn't enough anymore, I felt scammed and deceived, so I already set a date and time that I was going to use my platform on the Radio and Podcast to expose them and companies like them. BUT thanks to *Christina Munoz* and her Amazing customer service, I won't be doing that anymore. Christina reach out to me "THE ONLY ONE" and apologized for everything that had happened and promised to make it better, and she definitely kept her word! She sent me 2 newer model monitors and all the wires that were missing from the first shipment. She also sent had it delivered with in like 3 days which is night and day from the first shipment. I am a reasonable person and I definitely understand that No person or Company is perfect 100% of the time but unfortunately based on other reviews I read this is a trend with this company. So if it wasn't for Christina Munoz and her ability to take accountability and ownership of a situation that she didn't cause things were about to get really ugly. Its because of employee like her that Discount Computer Depot and Companies like them are still even around. SO IM GIVING CHRISTINA MUNOZ THE 5 STARS IN HOPES THAT DISCOUNT COMPUTER DEPOT WILL FOLLOW HER EXAMPLE NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! MY ADVICE.. PROMOTE CHRISTINA AND START FIRING THE BAD APPLES BEFORE THEY CAUSE YOU TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

The site itself found absolutely by accident, but was surprised that there is a wide range of products and really can pick up something worthwhile, while the prices are really low. I talked to the manager, helped me find the best model.

SWINDLERS

SWINDLERS, SCAMMERS , CROOKS! They use Walmart.com and Microsoft Windows as platforms to cheat people out of money selling obsolete ,defunct products cheating people out of money we don't have. If I could've afforded to by of Brand New PC I would of done so.. I'm going to take legal action against them and their many other fake businesses they operate selling defunct PCs claiming to have WINDOWs 10pr..ya I've done some research on Discount Computer ... hopefully taking action will prevent from being cheated out of their money!

They send incomplete orders!

Bought a desktop thru walmart and this company is the one that’s selling them. Receit it on May 6,2020. But the order was incomplete I’m missing the speakers, called them and they hung up on me I’ve been trying to contact them and they don’t answer. Bad customer service. Oh and they are NOT new they are refurbished..FML!!

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. If I could even get ahold of anyone. Computer doesn't work. Customer service is non existant. We have called our bank and credit card company and have reported them as a totally fraudulent company. If you like throwing mo ey away please just give it to me instead of these rip off artists. I would at least give you a happy ending.
