A workman (a painter) had switched off the power to my mother's freezer which was located in an outbuilding. Adam came today and emptied the large upright freezer of all the rotten food and maggots. He disinfected the freezer and dragged it to a place where the council will be able to collect and dispose of it. He, thoroughly, disinfected where the freezer had been standing and sprayed the area with a spray to eliminate the residual smell. Adam worked really hard in a small fly-infested room which was very unpleasant. Adam kept me informed of what he was doing and what he planned to do. I don't usually like any workmen as they can be rude and arrogant but Adam was an absolute delight. Well done Adam!

We had a chip pan fire and the smoke damage was pretty bad throughout the front of the property (kitchen and living room). Was advised it would take a small team a day to clean. 3 guy's turn up, on time and I let them get on with it and go to work. They are only responsible for the property, walls, ceilings, floors, built in cabinets, windows, doors etc. I returned home about 6pm and have to be honest, am really disappointed with their cleaning effort. They clearly haven't put any care or pride into the work they do. It's just another job for them. Not one of my kitchen cupboards or drawers have been cleaned, I rub my hand over surfaces and it still gets soot over it. I ran a damp cloth over one of the walls and managed to get more soot off the wall. They haven't even attempted to clean the soot off the windows and some of the window frame's. Over all, they haven't been great and I'm very disappointed, angry and upset 2/8/21 - Update. Rentokil responded, as you can see and asked me to provide further details, which I did. I received a call and was advised it would be investigated and I'd get a call back from a manager. And here I am still waiting. Definitely not a great experience. 20/8/21 So, I received a call from one of the managers regarding my negative review and complaint. He arranged for a team to come and rectify the problems and address my concerns. The new gang that arrived were professional and polite, and after 2 day's hard graft the property is 1000 times better. Credit where credit is due, they stepped up to the plate to rectify their mistakes. So I have altered my star 🌟 rating now, but it shouldn't have to come down to a customer complaining before you offer a professional service. But am more than happy that I complained as the final result is brilliant

Service was great no complaints professional attitudes from lad who turned up on site. Issue could not be addressed the same day returned next day with a college. Same as previous day professional with great attitudes.
