I had a great experience overall! One piece of advice would be to offer a pen or stylus for easier writing on the screen—it would enhance usability significantly. Additionally, a French language keyboard option would be incredibly helpful for those who need it. These small improvements could make an already excellent experience even better!

Tutor always rescheduled can never get a tutor for the days requested or the time I feel like this is a scam

The tutor I had was great! Very knowledgeable and knew how to teach to help me understand. What I did not like was the website setup and the people behind customer support. My tutor cancelled on me 3 times due to personal problems and while my test was setup to be taken after the full “12” sessions with the tutor. I came to find out AFTER I failed the test that you need all 12 sessions to qualify for the fail refund. There was nothing I could do due to my tutor cancelling and my test being setup in a specific time frame. I then proceeded to still follow the directions and see if anything could be done to get the session refunds. I have now sent 3 different emails and each one has been ignored, this was over a month ago now. If you want to do this make sure you get the full 12 sessions or pass the first time because they seem not to care very much for fails.

Awesome tutor, and very good service

We engaged a tutor and thought it was going to be great. Our tutor quit after 1 session. We were assigned another tutor after quite a few days (not within their 48 hour timeline). The next tutor taught some items incorrectly. We also tried an on-line assessment and it didn't match up with any of the course material for Honors Physical Science. When I called I was told there was no ability to get a refund since it was a monthly subscription. We have gotten no value from this and it has actually made us more behind when going into finals week. All I was offered was more on-demand tutoring. When I have a 50/50 success rate of tutors that are adding value, that isn't time that I want to spend.

The Tutoring Service was great! Varsity Tutors paired my daughter up with a top class tutor! She understood the concepts of College Chemistry after her 8 sessions she passed her classes with flying colors!! Thank you Varsity Tutors!!!

No refunds for automatic subscription renewals My friend is preparing for university exams and decided to buy 4 lessons for $300 from your company. She took the lessons, everything was fine. But somehow another $300 was written off for the next month by auto-subscription. Although in dialogues with the manager she agreed only on 4 lessons and that's it. Kristina wanted to return these $300, but the manager said that it would not work and no one would return the money to her. I am writing this review in the hope that it will be fair, that the higher-ups will look at this review and punish the manager. And, of course, they will return this money, otherwise it looks like unjust enrichment.
