Refund received - thank you, Varsity Tutors for doing the right thing and refunding the three months of auto pay services I never intended to order or use. As promised, I am posting a follow-up to my 1-star rating. I have upgraded my rating to "Meets Expectations" or "Satisfactory" because ultimately, I did receive the help I needed and you addressed my billing issue. Unfortunately, I can't say that I would recommend Varsity Tutors without alot of caution due to your marketing/billing practices, which is a shame because I would otherwise be singing your praises.

I have been observing my daughter’s progress and I feel like she has improved since the beginning of the tutoring.

Logging in was great, and content was on point. My tutor is very knowledgeable and explains the problems where I can make sense to what’s the best response.

Dossevi is an excellent tutor. He is encouraging, accommodating, and kind. His mastery over the language is amazing, and his teaching skills second to none.

Make sure you use your credit every month. We were on a program with four hours of tutoring every month for my son. During the summer for various reasons, we and the tutor could not make these regular sessions. They do not roll over and you keep getting billed. I didn’t realize this and lost many credits over a three month period

Teresa is a huge help to my daughter with the TEAS and Wyatt is amazing with my son on the SAT/ACT.

My tutor was excellent at explaining grammar issues and word usages also because Italian is her mother tongue she is very helpful with correct pronunciation and hearing discrepancy in pronunciation. She was also humble enough to appreciate that she didn’t know everything all the time and admitted at times that teaching helped her in her learning of the nuance in her own language. Most enjoyable and informative experience.

Ms. Patty is super knowledgeable. Sanvi had a great session with her today. She is super excited to continue the sessions with her.
