I hired Varsity Tutors to provide my son an experience learning mandarin between HS and College. He learned so much and progressed very quickly with his amazing tutor Jingling Shang. I am shocked at his growth over the summer and how she inspired him to learn. I was able to watch his lessons afterwards and really enjoyed to see the progression. I would recommend her highly to anyone. My younger son used the online courses to prep for SATs. They were helpful for sure.

We have been using this tutoring company for 6months and I tried really hard for this to work out for my son. We had a wonderful tutor and she worked so hard with Omar. Unfortunately, online learning was not working out for him. The platform itself and the website were very easy to use and helpful. The teacher had access to a board and screen sharing and even assigned homework. I had some issues with trying to cancel and find new ways to help my son, but they soon took care of it and all issues were resolved. I highly recommend varsity because they do have a wide range of experienced teachers and if you're child benefits from online learning this is a great platform for them to further their education.

Endless (seemingly endless) job postings. They market themselves as a nerdy company, but a more accurate description might be 'a greedy company'. Maybe they are like that because they are US-based from what I gather. The pay is just awful and the worst of any agency in the world I've ever come across. I hope they disappear soon. Many better alternatives exist.

Do not fill anything out with these people. They harass you. Since one day ago they have called me at least 14 times a different person everytime. They have text me and text me and text me EVEN though I have asked them to stop. Beware.

I was struggling with my physics homework and didn’t know who to ask for help, but Mr. Kumar explained the problems quickly and sufficiently and I was able to get the help that I needed pretty much instantly when I scheduled my session. I now know where to get help if I need it:)

I called and cancelled my membership after my 12 month mark at the end of March. It was extremely difficult to get them to cancel my membership, the guy kept trying to talk me into not cancelling. And then after telling me my account was cancelled I find out 2 months later he never did. I call again and talk to someone about the issue. They tell me that this time my account is cancelled. Im crazy busy, I have a TON of transactions on my card every month, and I look at next months statement and I some how over looked the charge so I thought they were finally done. Then I catch the charge again on my August statement, only to learn that I have now paid $241.00 for 5 months of NOTHING. I was able to get American Express to charge back one month but that's it. I got lied to multiple times and scammed out of over a thousand dollars. This company is class action law suit worthy because Id bet everything I got I'm not the only person this has happened to.
