First class customer service.

I had real problems with the brush cutter I bought but Genpower’s customer service guy was really good and action was swift. They collected the faulty machine and delivered a new one. No fuss, no bother and very courteous. Best customer service I’ve experienced in a long while.

Don't separate

The strimmer comes apart in the middle. It should just clip off and on but once it was separated, it wouldn't go back together on the central spindle.

I bought a replacement lawnmower blade…

I bought a replacement lawnmower blade for a machine I had bought in April 2023 as I was told it would stop the vibrations. The machine has been used for about 4hours in total. It did not ,as the machine rattled itself to be a non starter now. I have tried to claim through your warranty scheme and after 28 phone calls and 25 E mails the machine is back with you !

From wrist-wrenching tedium to branch dancing fun.

I was doing a fair bit of cutting down of garden waste by hand with pruners before, but then the prospect of felling a substantial laurel tree made me think about getting some mechanisation. This garden shredder is a superb machine, making quick work of chomping through branches, up to 44 mm thick, according to the book, but I'd call that an at least. I've had to deal with plenty such, many of which have been several feet long. The shredder has a 60 litre integral bin and a voracious appetite - the thicker the branches you put in, the more eager it seems to get its teeth into them, and down they go, in seconds, twirling, waving, and whirling. With widely splayed branches that does mean standing clear, which has been no problem in the open air. One can overdo it - overload the entrance and it can clog. But blockages can quickly be reversed out. And stuff that pauses because it's too short to be gripped by the rotating blades can be easily persuaded downwards with the plunger tool. Four full shredder bins will fill a 240 litre wheelie bin with well ground material. Far superior to doing it all by hand; a real positive experience for this rather reluctant gardener. Highly recommended. Thankyou.
