I was not informed that a hefty import tax would be coming my way after ordering from Hiplok, a UK brand, to the EU. Though this is not the main responsibility of Hiplok, a disclaimer upon purchase would have been greatly appreciated. The rest of the service was good. But this became way pricier than expected.

What a great idea. I love the build quality. I bought the Z Lock which I mainly use on my roof mounted bike rack when I run into the coffee shop and the Z combo lock for all other duties that require some security.

Products are great, but you should warn people that your a British company, and that you could be extra charged for import!!! This is costed me 50% extra costs!!! Not funny...

This company sets the "gold standard" for customer service. They are a joy to work with. Very prompt in responding to any question you have, provided new parts for us, when something wasn't working properly (probably "user error"). We can't recommend them more highly.

At the moment there is a lot of hassle ordering goods form the UK especially when you are in Europe, e.g. Germany. The German customs are super slow and they do extra charge customers for no reason when they order stuff from the UK. This happened to me and I am giving the company HipLok a great review and 5 stars because they helped me A LOT dealing with all that customs trouble. The company has been nothing but super customer friendly and fair giving the horrible circumstances they are in due to Brexit. I think HipLok is very fair and trustworthy.
