They ruined the Holidays for me
They ruined the Holidays for me. I ordered baskets for my employees on Dec. 4th with a ship date of Thurs Dec. 17. Nothing was sent. Then they confirmed and assured me the gift baskets were being send out Sat Dec. 19, Sunday - Still nothing send. Then, last minute on Mondy night Dec 21, I get an email stating that the two baskets are not avail and they would grant me an extra $50 towards a high priced basket and overnight shipping. Empty gesture b/c there were no baskets available at $50 more than the $150 basket I purchased. I suggested we send two baskets equal to the value of the one basket (using $50 credit) since there were no comparable baskets left. They said no and were not willing to help me after they totally screwed me over. Will not be doing business with them ever again!
So disappointed
I placed my order on December 3, 2021. Expected delivery was December 13-17. And the package still in transit... it doesn’t show where the package is... it looks like it got lost. I contacted them and no one helped me... so disappointed. Bad experience... I will never going to order from that website again. I wish I’ve checked the reviews on here before I placed my order. :(

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE SHADY AND SNEAKY AND DO NOT HELP WITH ANYTHING IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE. YOU CAN'T CANCEL AN ORDER TO CHANGE ANYTHING AFTER PLACING. I CONTACTED THEM VIA PHONE AND WAITED ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR WITH NO ANSWER. SPOKE WITH THEIR CHAT SUPPORT AND MANAGER THE FOLLOWING DAY TO RECONCILE THINGS AND THEY REFUSED TO ASSIST ME. THEY DONT EVEN EMAIL YOU WHEN YOUR ORDER SHIPS. I WROTE INTO THEM VIA EMAIL MESSAGE TO CANCEL MY ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPPED AND THEY IGNORED IT AND SENT THE ORDER ANYWAYS. NOT COOL! THERE ARE A LOT OF OPTIONS THAT HAVE BETTER VALUES AND MORALS. GO WITH THEM AND DO NOT USE THIS GIFTTREE.COM ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE AND BUSINESS ETHICS.

Make sure you read all the fine print! I have ordered a gift basket for my boss for the holidays, paid the fee for “peak delivery date”, and it still has not been delivered. I understand delivery delays due to the holidays, and the pandemic, but I also see other businesses have stepped up their game in preparation for this. My boss leaves for the holidays, and the basket was still not delivered. I called and asked for a refund on this gift he will not receive for the holiday, and was told they don’t offer refunds once it is shipped. But in the same token can’t even tell me if the basket is in the same state as I am located, yet. Do yourself a favor, and order from any of the hundred other delivery services that will get your gift there in a timely matter.
Bad Shipping Policy
Make sure you read the details on their policy on delivery, as that information is not available or highlighted during the ordering process. There is no guarantee that your gift will arrive in time, and no refund for higher expedited shipping costs if it does not. This should be made abundantly clear while you are ordering. It is understandable that there are shipping issues this year, but you shouldn't have to read the fine print to know Gift Tree's policy regarding delays.
Third times a charm
This is the third time I have made an order on this website, through their other site, 1stopflorists... still only to receive problems with my order not arriving. I decided to give it a go because I was given a gift card as reimbursement for the last time the order was screwed up. I have asked for a refund since yesterday, having written at least 4 emails by now and have not even gotten any kind of response from the customer service. Im furious... in these hard times, to be spending money on a luxury item to have to go through this bad delivery experience is messed up. I would not recommend this site to anyone. My mistake for giving them another chance. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Poor planning and customer service
One of the most important aspects of a gift is that it arrives on time. Despite ordering ahead of the schedule GiftTree includes in the ordering process, my gift basket still has not arrived. I understand that the pandemic has created delays but delays should be anticipated and once a customer very kindly asks for a company to make up for the error, a well-run business should offer something in return to the dissatisfied customer. GiftTree did not do this. I guarantee this company will spend way more in trying to recapture me as a customer than it could have taken to have good customer service on the front end. If they are poor at planning and customer service, this tells me all I need to know about his company. Will never order from them again.
This company is dishonest
This company is dishonest. We ordered over 60 gift baskets for my clients, and the representative told us that the shipping would be free. After spending many hours to complete the address forms and picking out gifts for my clients, we were told about additional shipping fee and upscale charge (?) of over $500 right before finalizing the order. When asked for the explanations, they accused of their carriers for the additional shipping charge and never explained what the upscale charge was for. We have worked with Harry & David and Wine Country Gift Baskets for the past 6-7 years and never had experience like this. We just wanted to try different company this time for our clients and picked Gift Tree based on their review. We were very disappointed and wasted so much time! We had to spend more hours searching for another gift basket company and making orders again. I usually don't write reviews, but this time, I had to make sure to let others know so no one else waste their time!
