Do not buy from this illegitimate company!

My engagement experience has been completely dampened due to Angara’s poor customer service and low quality products. Upon sending my ring back to be resized, I was sent an entirely different ring (the gemstone has a dark blemish and poor clarity - completely different to the ring my partner purchased). The new ring, which also has dents in the band and looks as though it’s been previously returned from someone else and was shipped from Thailand even though I returned my ring to Victoria, came with the identical authenticity certificate including the report number, proving that this ring has not been inspected for quality and the authenticity certificates are worth nothing. When I questioned why the gemstone was not the same I was told that my teal Montana sapphire was damaged during the resizing process. I requested a refund as this is not the same ring as was purchased, but they wouldn’t offer this, so I escalated the matter. After a few emails were exchanged I was offered my original gemstone back. I said no thanks as this had been damaged during the resizing? I was then told that the validity of this statement would be investigated, and after 4 days of no communication, I was then told they can send my original gemstone back with no explanation of what has happened and no proof. I am still awaiting a refund and would not recommend purchasing from this company. The meaning of the ring has been completely tarnished for me, why would anyone want to wear something for the rest of their life that they cannot even know the true quality of. I am having the ring valued to find out if the quality is what they claim it to be so I can take further action. I am extremely disappointed that given the circumstances and having been lied to and led astray by the company, they are yet to refund me.

Wow! Absolutely blown away

I ordered a bespoke ring from Angara on May26th, didn’t pay for express delivery, but really needed it delivered before June 10th. THEN, I read the reviews and started panicking. I contacted customer services who assured me it would arrive in time. My ring has arrived today and it’s gorgeous, exactly what I wanted.I know we don’t order the box, but the packaging is gorgeous and the little light up box that the ring came in was a surprise. I’m based in the UK and can only say good things so far. I haven’t taken the ring for appraisal to check diamond size or metal used (I ordered platinum) but very happy so far. Would order again

Late delivery

Angara failed to send the item at the nominated date, due to a communication breakdown between 2 of their teams. I chased them up multiple times, but by the time they rectified it, I didn't get the item in time for my wife's birthday. Disappointing.

Perfect!

After reading the reviews I was a little dubious, but fell in love with two necklaces, so decided to commit. I'm so glad I did! Beautiful jewellery, well presented, certificates to go with them too. I cannot wait to get married and wear my necklace and see the look on my mum's face when I give her the other which is almost identical to a very sentimental one that she lost. Free gifts were very much appreciated too. Can't fault a single thing

Unrealistic delivery estimates

I ordered an engagement ring where I had two delivery options. The premium one was 3rd - 4th of May and the stadard one was 6th - 7th of May. I have a flight to Paris on the 12th of May so I chose the premium option just to be sure. However the ring was still in production on the 4th of May and now the ETA of the ring is 12th of May meaning that I can't bring it with me to Paris where it is needed. The thing that angers me the most though is that while I expected it to be sent from Germany, the ring was actually sent from the US meaning that the 3rd-4th of May estimate was never realistic in the first place and it was probably just to make me buy the ring.

The ring I was sent wasn't the one I ordered and it was not hallmarked. It was rattling about in it's box uncushioned. Disappointed all round and still waiting on a reply from Angara

Angara has been a pleasure to deal with. I had to do a return because the ring (though accurately described) just did not lookgood on my fat fingers ! And it couldn't have been easier. They sent the label the day after I requested a return, The payment was refunded the day after I took the package in to FedEx. A large garnet/diamond ring I bought earlier for my Mother is simply stunning ! Definitely looking at Angara offerings first before looking anywhere else for the next jewelry purchase.
