I was curious to try this service. I started my first subscription and was sent 3 different boxes. I then realized my bank account had been charged 3 different times for the same amount. I reached out to Stately to investigate and explained they charged me 3 different times for my first order (a very large amount!) and I would like to send back my orders for reconciliation. Bobbie responded with a rude and unforgiving tone, unwilling to help. No customer service what so ever and no drive to keep a customer as a return client. A large amount would be deducted from each additional box that was sent and claimed to be a “restocking fee”. I expressed that this error should have been flagged by their team before 3 boxes were shipped out! My interaction with Bobbie has left a poor taste which is deterring me from repeating my order or recommending to anyone based on my experience.
Difficult to Deal With
Was charged by them after I thought I cancelled and they did not assist in any way. Very bad experience which felt like they were prioritizing the revenue from a single order over fairness or reputation. Clothes were fine but they sent out duplicate items way more often than is to be expected.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR $$ TO STATELY!!!
I was really interested in trying out a clothing service and the way in which Stately presented itself bred confidence they would get it right. I am incredibly picky when it comes to clothing and how they fit, so much so it’s to the point of absurd. Keep in mind Stately is one of the more expensive men’s clothing services out there and prides itself on offering high end brands. I was very clear from the get go about what I wanted, what sizes, what I did not want and even provided 5 or 6 pics as examples. Their “stylists” continued to mess up, so much so I had to return multiple items over months of headache and delay, only to finally cancel altogether and say “F*** IT!” The whole experience was incredibly infuriating and disappointing, not to mention a total waste of my time and money. If you’re looking for a clothing service, trust me when I say that you are better off looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, this was my first attempt at a service like this and it left such a bad taste in my mouth, it may be my last.
Mind Blown!!!!!
After working through some initial size/style issues, the styles I have been sent are outstanding. To my surprise, most of the items are things I would never even consider in a store/retail atmosphere, but when they arrive, my mind is blown...every time!!!!
They make it difficult to cancel
They make it difficult to cancel. I cancelled, but was still charged my next subscription. I called immediately after I got a text saying "Thank you for your order." My order had not been curated or shipped yet. However, they told me I had only "paused" my subscription. I asked them to cancel the order since it hadn't been curated or shipped yet. They said they can't do that. I asked why, and they just said it's their policy. THEY LITERALLY HADN'T SHIPPED MY ORDER YET AND WOULDN'T LET ME CANCEL?! REPLY TO STATELY MEN: Thank you for your response. You did not request any additional information from me. In fact, you did not contact me when I left a voicemail asking for a call back. Fortunately, my credit card company recognized how Stately does business and they promptly refunded my charges. Please change the way you do business or you will continue to see more bad reviews from customers here and on Reddit, etc.
Great outfit. Cheap watch
Great spring box. Only “complaint” is the watch that came as a “bonus item”. Second of the same brand since starting and they just look and feel cheap. Better off leaving it out and going a different route for the “bonus item”.

My experience with Stately has been very good. Great clothing and style and even better customer service. Shopping is not my thing, but dressing sharp is, and Stately has helped a lot.
Horribly experience
Horribly experience, had to return everything twice…clothes are cheap and not even close to the guidelines I set out in my profile. No pre-charge warning or email and they refuse to refund charge once it is processed. No direct way to cancel subscription.
Some Good, Some Bad, Trouble cancelling
I have had some good outfits, but I agree with previous reviews, some of the clothing appears to be off the Nordstrom Rack Clearance. You cannot return things only exchange some of the items. And if you cancel your subscription prior to a box being shipped, they won’t let you cancel your order or return the clothing. Buyer be ware.
Clothes were out of style and you can't return items!!
Clothes were out of style, looked like they just shopped the deep clearance racks at Nordstrom Rack. The sent to white Ben Sherman shirts in the same shipment, but the whole shipment was bland. The kicker is you can't return stuff you don't like, only exchange for something else. My fault for not realizing that, but my bad for assuming it would be as easy other subscription clothing services. No response from email to concierge or approval for exchange.
