Half a star for customer service to loyal 15 year customer Broken washing machine at $20 per week no replacement offered as everything is online now not what I signed up for instore as I’ve always had a replacement product while financed product is being repaired not the case now in 2022 Will not be using RR ever again once contracts are up ALSO RR don’t you dare comment thanking me for my review And promising to help me

Rent to buy is a joke

I purchased my desktop computer (making me the legal owner and it being private property)from radio rentals after end of lease.Many months went past without issue, until recently.My entire HDD went into a disk sanitation (without warning), deleting years of data and the locked screen pops up. The company has yet to fix the issue.Be warned about rent to buy, they still leave software in your device they can access remotely whenever they want.

No loyalty with Radio Ripoff!!

Have been a loyal customer of Radio Rentals for nearly 20yrs. In that time, I have never had an issue renting through them until now. Even though my income has increased, I could not be approved for a new phone, being told I don’t have the capacity to pay lol Went straight to another company (DIFRENT) and was approved within 24hrs, no questions asked…Steer clear of Radio Ripoff!!

Can't give less than 1 star.

Can't give less than 1 star. Have dealt with money theft, contract breaches, gaslighting and failed deal honouring. Dispute Resolutions team refuse to give information on who hacked my account and agreed to things I didn't consent to, won't transfer me to anyone high up. Have had the accc deal with them, and they've been sued by Maurice Blackburn lawyers for the same thing multiple times

A $600 dollar washing machine is really $2700

A $600 dollar washing machine. $12.99 per week over 48 months becomes a $2700 dollar washing machine. You own it now but after 4 years of use and paying $2700 to rent to own would have to be one of the biggest scams going from a company. I'm surprised this company exists. People get zip pay buy it out right and only fee is $6 a month over I year it's only $72 in fees or you can pay $2100 in 4 years in fees with radio rentals.. 30 years in fees from zip it equals

They used to be such a great service but not anymore. Please read your contracts before doing biz with them.

Refund

I have been waiting nearly 2 months for a refund. First of all they told me they didn't have a refund form from me so I would have to do a new one. I done a new refund form & backdated it to the original date that was on the first one. Still waiting. Quick enough to take my money but when the shoe is on the other foot it's a different story.

I’ve been a customer since 1989 and…

I’ve been a customer since 1989 and have rented many products over the years, never been declined. My account is often a few hundred dollars in credit, my latest refund being in March. I finished paying a product out earlier this year and applied for a new product that was around the same amount. It was declined. Tried to find a reason, several phone calls, complaints form etc, took about a week of promising to have somebody ring me etc until I finally got an answer. Declined due the ‘responsible lending policy’. Seeing I’ve never missed a payment and YOU pay me money back because I’m often in credit, I think the explanation is rubbish- so much for loyalty. I’m off to the bank to withdraw some cash that you don’t seem to want and buy a washing machine. I’ll never deal with RR again once my current contracts end.

Treated unfairly after being a 17 year supporter…

I’m still waiting for a the fridge from when I reported it faulty back in September/October 2020 this is so unfair. I don’t have a fridge to keep my food at the healthy temperature required!   I am mother of 5 children, so can you imagine how hard this is? I’m struggle as it is and have had no support what so ever from them. No one has bother to contact me in via email.  This is not right and I feel after 17 years supporting radio rentals, putting so much money in them, over charged on RRP which I understand as I was renting to own and I end up getting treated like this with a faulty product!!  Put yourself in my shoes here ‘Do you think this is fair as a customer’? Disappointing!!!

Reading all these reviews, I have to agree with them all. Not worth any stars at all. They are ignorant thieves. I have purchased, washing machine, computer, tv, suround sound system. No telling when contracts finished, taking credits, always reminding you when 1 day late, even though you are constant in payments.. rude ignorant Indians I can't ever understand. I would never recommend their company to anyone. Bad services, policies and products. Shame on Radio Rentals !!! "10 thumbs down"
