Transporation to and from Telford 06th October
The coach arrived at the agreed pick up point however the drivers had been changed and this therefore meant the replacement driver did not know the area for the drop off. As a result the journey which should have taken around 20 minutes actually took closer to an hour (guests were actually tracking our route with their smart phones). Furthermore the journey both ways was driven at a brisk speed and did leave some passengers feeling either anxious or a little travel sick. Overall not a very pleasant trip especially as we were entertaining some of our key customers

All contact with Coachhire.com was great, professional, helpful and friendly. We had no issues on the day, and the issue - created by my lack of knowledge of Bristol streets, was over come pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

think we had a return trip in the flintstones minibus
We had reasonable service on outbound journey, except driver could not speak much english. the inbound journey unfortunately the minibus was 30 minutes late, as the original minibus supposedly broke down, the replacement i think was the flintstones vehicle, it was very run down, door handles did not work, upholstery and seat belts were covered in vomit, and the suspension at the back was very hard, whenever we went over a bump we hit our heads on the roof as the suspension was so poor, the driver was very friendly though.

Worrying aspects
I did not receive advance notification of the driver's mobile number. Thus I had no knowledge of where the coach was coming from. There was only an answer phone message on Coach Hire's phone and no contact in response though I left name and number. On another occasion I was referred to a mobile number but that didn't produce a response either. Eventually I was able to locate Keith Vincent's number and he gave me the local coach firm's landline number but on a Fri evening there was no reply. The information about paying by BACS transfer was confusing. It was not clear which of two references I should give. My bank did not have information about Coach Hire ltd. So I had to pay a card transaction fee which I think Coach Hire should refund These experiences made me wonder if Coach Hire Ltd was a scam and left me anxious until the coach duly arrived. The coach and driver were splendid and made day enjoyable

Great customer service!
I booked a mini coach to transfer my family from Heathrow to our wedding in Wales. There were a few issues as originally I got given a mini bus, with no luggage space at all, by accident. The company was very good at fixing this issue though and very good at keeping me up to date with the booking (and landing all changes I inquired about). The bus was on time and the transfers went well. The only thing I would say is my family had trouble finding the coach parking at Heathrow airport at first. Maybe this could be highlighted (with map/instruction on how to get there) on bookings from airports? It may have been somewhere on the small text but I must have missed it! All in all, very happy with the experience!

We had hired a mini bus at least 2 months prior with a different company who unfortunately let us a few days before the actual hire. On contacting Coach Hire by email within 15 minutes I had a phone call to confirm they could do the job at short notice. Excellent communications and great friendly driver.

Customer Relations is shocking
At time of booking and paying everything went perfect. But unfortunately on day of arriving in London our flight was cancelled, therefore we were booked on a later flight. We contacted Coach Hire and advised them of our situation (which was outwith our control) and they advised us that they would get back to us by email / phone by time we arrived into London with alternative arrangements. We landed in London with no arrangements being made for us and no contact was made by Coach Hire to us. When tried to call was an answering machine in middle of day! This caused us the inconvenience of a longer commute and further travel expenses to travel to our hotel. To date 17 days after our travel and numerous phoning / emailing Coach Hire every two days and being told it is being dealt with and someone will get back to us, we have still not been contacted or credited the cost of the bus hire that we did not receive on arriving into London. We are so dissappointed that no-one, (they say any queries will be dealt with in 48 hours!!) has had contacted us regarding this situation. We cannot believe that this problem with flight delays is not a common occurance, and we just feel so let down by the many staff that we have spoken to but keep passing the buck!!! Situation we are out of pocket!!

I ordered a 16 seater minibus to take my friends and I to Leeds festival on the 26th of August at 12:00 noon. The vehicle showed up an hour and a half late, and the man on the other end of the phone who worked at the depot was extremely rude. We arrived at Leeds a lot later than we had originally planned which was a great inconvenience because we wanted a better camping spot. Furthermore, there was not sufficient enough room to put our luggage as we had to put our humongous rucksacks on the floor under our feet. I emailed coachhire.com asking for the compensation as stated on the terms and conditions, 8 days later they got back to me telling me I could request for it within the following 7 days. I replied asking for the compensation, however they never got back to me! I have still not received the money they owe me, almost a month after getting on the minibus. Awful company, only book with them if you enjoy being messed about

Unable to get in touch with them once I'd made payment. Numerous emails sent and calls made but with no reply to messages. On the day, an error in the information passed to the drivers meant half our party were late to the event, as two of the four buses went to the same pick up point instead of seperate ones. The drivers were fantastic, and extremely accomodating, but I wouldn't use Coach Hire again.
