Ordered blinds to match already fitted ones in new house. Spoke to Matt who was extremely helpful in choosing right blinds to fit and match colouring. Extremely helpful, top customer service.

Great Customer Service

Ordered a blind and had to send it back to be slightly altered (no charge). When we went to hang it, we discovered we had the wrong drill head and put the attachments in a 'safe' place and promptly lost them forever. Two years later (after several attempts to recover the lost parts, I contacted English Blinds (Matt) who instantly said they would put the missing parts in the post to me - no charge (I didn't think they would have my details, but it was worth a try). That is what I call customer service and I would recommend English Blinds to anyone who wants beautiful, tasteful designs and professional staff. Thank you Matt for making what I thought would be a bit of a nightmare, a pleasurable experience in the end!

I bought a couple of unusually wide…

I bought a couple of unusually wide (2.5m) blinds from English Blinds in 2010 and they have been no problem until last week when one of the ends jammed. I phoned EB and got through to Matt who found me from the postcode and asked me to send a photo as they don't stock those blinds any more. I did so and he sent an email saying he had popped an endset in the post. It arrived the next day, and we are up and rolling again. I've never had it (service) so good! Chris from Hatfield.

Great quality, prompt delivery!

English Blinds sent samples and the quality of the fabric exceeded any of the other companies I had samples from. They were responsive to queries and the blinds were packaged beautifully and fit perfectly... it's down to you to provide the correct measurements and if you do, they'll fit perfectly.

I wish I’d read the poor reviews before…

I wish I’d read the poor reviews before ordering here. I ordered some white blinds on 18th July, and was advised they take approx 10 days, my order confirmation estimated delivery before the 1st August. I desperately needed them as I’ve a south facing house with a lot of windows and needed them to prevent sun damage on some furniture with delicate fabric. The delivery arrived a week late on 6th August but I was so desperate for them I didn’t complain, however the blinds that arrived were the wrong colour, so I contacted english blinds. I was advised that I must have received someone else’s blinds, and that my blinds were mistakenly sent to someone else and they would chase them and send them to me. I returned the incorrect blinds the next day and so was expecting to receive mine within the week. I then received an sms to say that my delivery would arrive on 19th August which I was now beginning to get annoyed about as it was over a month since I’d ordered them, and had expected to receive them within 10 days. So I rearranged my plans to make sure I was home that day. Nothing arrived! I called English Blinds they advised that they were still awaiting delivery of my blinds from wherever they had gone, but that if they hadn’t received in the next few days, that they would reorder the material and I’d have them no later than the end of the week. I waited another week and when no one from English blinds called to explain what was happening, I called them to find out where they were. It turns our they had no intention of ordering more material and making me some new blinds as when I told the man I spoke to who I was and why I was calling, he said he was still waiting to get my blinds back from wherever they were....I then immediately asked for a refund. I’d been extremely patient up until this point, but I’d totally lost confidence in them ever supplying the blinds. The man refused to provide a refund and so I advised I would speak to my credit card company to request a “chargeback” this is a process where a transaction for goods ordered but not received, can be investigated by your credit card company. He seemed unfazed by this and so I immediately called Amex who are now investigating this. In the meantime I revieved another SMS advising that deliver would take place on the 6th September and so I waited in all day again, for them not to turn up again! I then received a further message this morning advising that delivery would be today. Unfortunately when the arrived the packaging was a mess, both of the plastic ends of the cardboard cylinder had fallen out and the blinds were falling out at both ends so I asked to check the blinds before accepting delivery and could see that they had been damaged so I refused to accept delivery. To say I’m annoyed is an understatement. I’m appalled at the lack of customer service and wish I’d never had the misfortune to come across English Blinds. I’ve sent a photo to them today by email showing the damage and requesting a refund, however, I don’t expect them to do the right thing. Thank god i can use my chargeback rights!

Excellent service and product.

Initially sent for a sample which was promptly dispatched. Decided I liked the quality Followed the simple instructions on English Blinds website and placed my order. I was given a tracking number to follow the progress of the order. The blind was even delivered on a Sunday morning. The blind came with everything, clear instructions and was soon fitted. Excellent service and product. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
