If you have a query about an order it is impossible to get anybody to pick up a phone to help you. When I sent an email to report a problem with my order I received a short, unapologetic response.

Recently ordered 3 more white faux wood blinds for the bedrooms and once again the level of service were excellent. The quality of the blinds is far superior to ones we’ve had in the past from another company, they look and feel extremely well made and look fantastic up at the window. They were easy to fit and the sizes were perfect. I would certainly have no qualms recommending them and will be using them again in the future. Top marks all round.

I wanted a wooden blind and went for the faux wood option. Knowing shopping online you are never sure you think of an item as it really is so ordered samples first. The samples came the next day via 1st class post. I liked the idea they were easy clean and chose Mara. I was helped over the phone how to measure and got my discount when I ordered online. Blind came within specified time and very pleased! Thank you English Blinds!

For £89 I would have expected a faux wood blind to be made of something that at least had the weight and feel of wood. The blind I received is made of thin PVC. Don't be taken in by the name 'English Blinds'. They are trading of the reputation of English made products, thereby tarnishing not only their own brand but the reputation of this country. The build and materials of this blind are worse than much of what is made in China. Cheap screws which round off under little stress. The cord also keeps jamming. I called up to see if I could politely resolve the issue and was told, straight off the bat, that I was the first person to expect faux-wood to be flimsy, cheap-grade PVC. I was also told that I should read the product description more carefully. By the sounds of the way I was spoken to, this was someone who is used to dismissing customers' complaints. When I suggested this (without anger) the phone was put down. The kind of smell that follows a septic organisation around. Hope that £90 can go towards developing a more sustainable business plan. Wish I'd paid with faux money. With regrets I'm going to B&Q for better value, quality and customer service. Such a shame when my intention was to buy from local small business. If it had gone well I would have ordered blinds for the rest of this flat.

Delivered on time no problems would have been nice to have brown end caps to match roller blind ends great product would recommend to friends

This company gives false delivery dates then wont let you cancel on the basis your order is made to measure . Even though they haven’t even started to make your blinds! Their customer service are arrogantly rude

Beyond pleased with our blinds from English blinds. Even due to the run up to Christmas they arrived quickly. Great manufacturing and wide choice. Thank you.

I will never use this company again. All my blinds have been made by them but my last order went completely wrong. I was replacing a blind due to colour change. I placed my order online as usual but this time received no confirmation. After a couple of weeks I telephoned to be told the order had been sent out but they couldn't trace where it was. Then I was told the material was out of stock. Then after several telephone calls my order was sent out and is the wrong size. When I telephoned them I am told it is my mistake but as I have no proof I am stuck with a blind I cannot use. To date I have still not been sent my order confirmation although I kept asking for it.

AVOID AT ALL COST. NOT A DECENT PLACE TO BUY BLINDS FROM. SCUM
