Purchased a Tag watch. Fair price for a gray market watch. I had it for a month, pulled the crown out to adjust time and it broke. I emailed them, the crown is not covered under their warranty. They offered to fix it for free using non OEM parts. I agreed to have them fix it, they said 3 months. It has now been 5 months and I have not got the watch back. I have emailed them, and have got the same reply, your watch is still being repaired with no time frame as to when I will see it. Honestly, I saved 1k off the dealer price, I should have just paid for retail and I would have avoided this. This has been an awful experience and Customer service is awful as well

I purchased a Breitling AB0145211G1P3 watch from Watchmaxx.com on 12/02/2024, expecting a brand-new item. I ordered a new AB0145211G1P3 (blue strap) but received an AB0145211G1P1 (brown strap) with a mismatched blue strap. The engraved serial number confirms the model mismatch. The watch’s sticker was altered with a sharpie to falsely match the AB0145211G1P3 model. Missing Warranty/Serial Number Card: The watch came without its original warranty and serial number card. Watchmaxx concealed this in the purchase process. The watch was sealed with tape stating, "ABSOLUTELY NOT RETURNABLE IF REMOVED." I had to break the tape to read the serial number, jeopardizing my ability to return the watch. Breitling confirmed the watch was registered on 07/30/2024, proving it was preowned, despite Watchmaxx’s claims. Despite paying for next-day shipping, the watch was delayed due to an undisclosed "verification process." Watchmaxx swapped components from an AB0145211G1P1 to mimic an AB0145211G1P3. This substitution lowers resale value and affects authenticity. Risky Return Process: Watchmaxx offered a return with no restocking fee if the watch is in "new condition." However, removing the tape to verify the serial number likely disqualifies it as "new," making a return uncertain. The watch’s resale value is significantly lower due to the mismatched strap, altered sticker, and missing documentation. Warning to Other Customers: Watchmaxx engages in misleading practices, including concealing their unauthorized dealer status, altering products, and hiding critical details. Their policies favor the business at the buyer's expense. Exercise caution when purchasing high-value items from this seller. It’s like buying a new blue car, only to have the seller switch parts, alter records, and deliver it without proper documentation. The car’s value is drastically reduced, and the return process is stacked against you.
